Long story short, I was eating a krispy cream donut in the kitchen and while I was sitting down I did hear a slight hissing noise but figured the water faucet wasnt shut all the way. So I thought nothing of it. When I went into the bedroom I reached for my buzz and it was hot! I kind of freaked and took the batts out and forunately the batts werent hot at all. It actually melted my drip tip some. Things are fine now. I put a new drip tip on the tank and the carto is actually still working fine lol. It did freak me out a little. I was sitting at the exact angle to make the button fire. From now on folks, I'm taking the one second to turn the buzz off before it enters my pocket.

I'm still amazed the carto wasn't fried.

Ya I melted my tank right off the top along with all the juice. I've been using a Buzz of one kind for over 2 yrs. but it only takes once to get it in your head to TURN THEM OFF when not in use. LOL

Hubby had his in the console in his truck and the way it was sitting it depressed the button. It didn't melt the DT but it was some kind of hot.

I ended up picking up one of those little Nebo flashlight holders. It has an old style belt clip (like on an eyeglasses case) and a belt loop clip. The case is slightly larger diameter than a BP, I just added a small piece of shoe foam. The case height comes up to just below the wheel, and with the foam added there's no chance for accidental misfiring when I put the BP in.

It looks decidedly utilitarian, clipped to the belt loop, but has come in very handy.

I think the Buzz might be a little too big for one Slow. Take your Buzz with you the next time you go to whatever store and try it on for size! I'm always on the lookout for new ideas and I get some funny looks when I'm in a store trying to stuff my BP into something

Can I buy a "All metal threaded" bottom cap in Chrome for my Buzz Pro II ?
I see where a "Brass bottom cap" is offered for older Buzz Pro's. Does it have metal threads? If so, will it fit the same as on the ecf version? I am worried over time, the plastic or delrin threads on mine will eventually wear out...

The all brass caps do fit the BPs, I have them on both of mine for the same worry Zipper. They do not come in all chrome that I know of tho. We've had some issues with the all chrome caps being "over chromed" and not threading on.

A little Brass "Accent" on the bottom will be a good thing anyway !!

Yea, Mike made the delrin end caps because some folks were having problems with the all metal caps not working reliably as an on/off switch. I've never had issues with mine.

You may indeed lose the off function. No practical harm, but you need to be aware of this.
