It was purely peer pressure...... just out and out peer pressure..... (Damn great vape though)

It all goes back to the late 60's when I would turn and say..."hey, what the hell you smokin over there ?"

Between that time and now is a blur..

37 years later, I start vaping my Ego........Then I get on the forums and read posts about how good the vape was with what they were using from the likes of: Bad, Thrasher, Eddard, Ocelot, Bills majic Vapor......and I finaly just came out and said........ "hey, what the hell you smokin over there?" They all came back and said ITS vaping.... NOT SMOKIN.. AND ITS A PROVARI..... so I got one.

Then I read posts about another mod.....from the likes of REF, Thrasher, BUZZ, Bills Majic Vapor...and I said.." Hey, what the hell you vaping over there ? They said.... ITS A SEMOVAR..... and I bought one.

Even though IMHO they are the best power devices for powering up our toppers...... You dont have to get one. Egos can be ok..

I have since, through today purchased 4 ProVaris for the houshold. One for the wife, one for a daughter, two for me.

I Guess what Im saying in my own silly way is, it may have started with an "impulse buy" seveal months ago, but I wouldnt make the same mistake 4 times if I didnt feel its the best money I could spend as a vaper.

Footnote: Ive bought two Provari's after the purchase of the Semovar (nothing wrong with the Semovar) AND...I see other vapers all the time...Most of them dont know what a ProVari is...(so I didnt buy them for that reason....as in to brag)....and I have no need for VW which comes with the Semovar and a half dozen other mods I have used in the past.

Thats my story....

Does that make me a ProSemovarian ?

You need a Reo.

I bought my first ProVari from the classies. I'd recommend that you buy one there, and then show your fiancee how much you saved vs. retail price, not to mention the future savings you'll realize from not having to repurchase lesser gear when it craps out.

Remember - it's not how much you spend, it's how much you save.

Did you get the red one this morning?

No...I think Stormy beat me to it. I actually saw it last night, almost picked it up...but then thought of all the gifts I still have left to buy.

When I woke up this morning, I grabbed my iPad and thought "If it is still there, it was meant for me!" So I sent a PM.

But, sadly, I was later informed that someone had beat me to it. Now I see Stormy over in the Saloon talking about it - so at least I know that if I didn't get it, it is nonetheless going to a worthy home.

I got my chrome Provari for $140 in their blemish sale. There was no blemish but it's minus the logo. I use it everywhere I go. I just can't seem to be satisfied with anything else. I bought some other things for the social occasion when I don't want to look weird with a big mod with extended cap and RDA, lol. But I just can't bring myself to use anything else.

What was the one thing that made everyone buy the provari I really really wanna get one but I have to convince my fiancé to allow me to make a provari purchase

My biggest reason is the lifespan of provaris I have had two smok zmax go out on me and the zmax I'm on now the fire button is garbage and I have to push it perfectly to fire. Talk about a very unejoyable vape.

I figure we could go a week or two without eating or having the heater on just for me to get a provari

I bought my first ProVari because I was very disappointed with the build quality of the crap coming from China... I had a Vamo, and the center pin pushed through the insulator so it grounded out... Probably my fault for screwing things down too tight, but whatever, it broke... Had a Lavatube 2.0, and while it worked fine it was a bit wonky at times... The rattlesnake sound bothered me, and almost everything on it was either burnt tasting or not enough... I couldn't find a sweet spot no matter what topper I put on the stupid thing... Zmax was okay, definitely better than the Lavatube or Vamo, but there was still something missing... Like the Lavatube, I could never find a good sweet spot no matter what...

Having amassed enough mods and batteries to have paid for 2 ProVari's at this point, I decided to bite the bullet and get one from the classies. I found one for $100 that was an old beat up V1. It got here, scratched all to heck, dirty center pin, just worn out... Or at least it LOOKED worn out... I grabbed some alcohol, q-tips, and a pencil eraser and started to work on the center pin... Soon enough I had it shining... Cleaned out the tube, put some noalox on the threads, and what do ya know it looked like crap with it's old faded ProVari logo, but that thing vaped like a dream... I found a sweet spot for my toppers within minutes.

I knew the search was over! Nice, smooth vape, no more rattlesnake chattering coils. It just sang with a smooth ProVari hissssssss... I hand polished it to a mirror finish and it was glorious and beautiful once again! Then I sent it to ProVape to get upgraded to V2, when they sent it back there was a handwritten letter from someone there that admired the polishing job. Pretty cool folks!

Needless to say, the ProVari is now my APV of choice... Sure, I'll try others (Just like I have tried Android phones in the past) but I'll always have a ProVari in the stable. It's what works the best, for me...

My reasoning isn't in-depth. I bought one because I wanted one.

Made in USA. I work in manufacturing and I go out of my way to support American-made. I was once a doubter, however...

You guys are making it way to easy for a semi-nube to decide where part of my soon to be had bonus is going......I've mastered the Kanger head rebuilding and getting board with that already, and a ProVari with a KFun on top is sounding like it will be my new vaping combo soon enough.

It is a good combination.

A single reason? Reliability. It works. It keeps working. No matter what you do to it, it keeps working.

2nd reason? Durability. Drop it out of a 7 story bldg onto concrete, it keeps working.

3rd reason? Made in the USA.

4th reason? Safety spelled out for us dummies that know nothing about battery safety.

5th reason? Power for the small size. Makes everything taste better.

6th reason? Low maintenance. Clean it when you remember... or not. Still works.

7th reason? Solidly built. Well made. Fit and finish flawless, threads turn like high end stereo equipment.

8th reason? Simplicity. Simple to operate once you are used to it, and simple to use. You can screw something on the top, you can use it.

9th reason? Comfortable... in the thousands of comments, not one person said it was too heavy, too light, too big, too small, it fits.

10th reason? It's pretty and comes in colors. Doesn't look like a polished section of plumbing pipe.

Oops. You said 1 reason. Sowwy:).
