I haven't tried any of my 28awg yet because I like to wrap 33awg to 3.0 ohms, but it really depends on what rba your using and how much space you have to work with. Here is a link to a chart to kinda figure out what you can do http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo.../320042-resistance-wire-kanthal-nichrome.html. And here is a thread on using 28 ga on a provari http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-lowest-ohm-wrap-provari-v2-using-28-awg.html : )

Thank you, this is what I was looking for. Seems I will be ok in or around the 1.0ohm range.
I normally get mine to 1.8 to 2.0 on the Vamo with 32awg. But working with 28awg is a little easier imho.
Just cant seem to get the 28awg to work well when I can only get down to 1.2ohms before an error.

I use White Cotton that I purchase from Joann's fabric, Michaels, Wal-mart, etc.
Cost: $2.59 to $4.00 - All are White 100% Cotton.

* Aunt Lydia's Crochet Thread SIZE 3
* Artistic Crochet Cotton SIZE 8
* Lily brand Sugar N Cream Yarn
* 100% cotton cosmetic rounds

Boil it before you use it. I boil it about 15 minutes and change the water a couple times. I find I much prefer the cotton over silica or fiberglass. Cotton brings out the flavor of juices. I have juices here that I vaped for a long time. The first time I had them with a cotton wick, it was amazing! I could not believe the difference in the taste. You need to let the cotton sit and wick for a bit before you start vaping, but it is well worth the wait.

Here is a thread that has quite a bit of info about cotton wicking material. You might find it helpful:

I tried bamboo. Was not for me.
I tried hemp. Was not for me.
ymmv- taste is subjective :)

Hope this helps a little,
Paula

Awesome, thanks!!

My provari was "undeliverable" by the post office so I am likely not going to see it until next week. I'll probably get the ZAP before the Provari.

Brandy from Provape was very helpful when I notified them it will be coming back though, big thumbs up to them.

I was able to get 28awg Kanthal on my Aga-T (while I wait for the Zap...should be here tomorrow)
1.1 ohm
3.8 volts
3.45 amps

I only liked your post because Brandy was helpful. The part where you didn't get your Provari because it was undeliverable totally sucks.

It's cool. I think USPS just screwed up since it was delivered the next day along with another package containing my zap, which had shipped two days later.

Ive been running my Provari at a rock stead 1.1 ohms at 3.8 watts since I first coiled it.
When it starts getting gunked up.... I see it fire then go to an E1 or E2....i get them mixed up.

I simple draw out the juice with a syringe and dry burn. Take a brush and clean off the coils.
After that....it stops giving me any errors.

Mind you....I have been vaping this non stop since I got it. I cant put it down.... so the coils normally dont get this much gunk.
Ive tried almost every flavor I have had....just loving the rock steady power and the ability to use 28awg that doesnt move unless I move it. Unlike my 32awg where I sneeze and it can move.

Hands down.... I would give the Provari recommendation to anyone that can afford one.
Its hard to justify the cost....that is what put me off from getting one.
But now that I have it.... I can feel the quality when its in my hands.

The only draw back was the Watts option. I really did like that on my Vamo.
However, I just added a ohms law phone app to my iPhone.
Now I can run the numbers and atleast have that on hand.

The only drawback is IF the coils do fluctuate at all....voltage will not auto correct where as watts will.
But with 28awg wire.... it hasnt moved from 1.1 ohms since I coiled it. So dont think that will be an issue.
