[67Tele]

It seems there are quite a few options available.
dna 200, dna 75, dna 60
wood, stabilized wood, delrin, Ultem
push up/pull down door
centered/off-centered squeeze
centered/off-centered atty placement


Was wondering:
What are the options for the faceplate? Brass, wood, stabilized wood....other?
Are those Ultem buttons up there?

The two above are beautiful, turbo!

dna60 is not an option for a while, we're waiting for evolv to start to produce them, there predicting october sometime, I'm predicting even later that that, they never really meet there projections. when they do become available I have a few new designs in mind for them too but I don't want to overwhelm things with too many things at the same time


yeah ultem buttons, but I can do black buttons or brass buttons or aluminum buttons. the ultem is nice in the 75's because it allows the leds to shine through...

I don't want to get too crazy with giving people too many options either but yeah, you forgot left handed or right handed too faceplate can be wood, stabilized, delrin, ultem, brass, aluminum, resin, whatever, I just can't get into the harder metals just yet, so no stainless or Ti, stuff like that, but otherwise I'll work with whatever you want within reason

So I'm stuck in a parking lot at target waiting for my wife to finish shopping, I'd rather be at home working on mods but oh well, figured this might be a good time to make a little video showing the durability of this ultem mod, I made 2 videos of a few torture tests yeah I was bored I'll put the videos up on YouTube later when I get home but I will say this, this mod is pretty damn durable if you ask me

I knew this ultem was some pretty tough stuff the first time I tried to machine it, go at it too hard and I actually broke a carbide bit thinking it would machine like a normal plastic but this stuff machines more like a tough aluminum than any kind of plastic really, then I overtightened a stainless steel screw for the chip cover in one and instead of stripping the ultem, the stainless steel screw actually broke, so I figured lets see how tough it really is. this gives a whole new meaning to what I'd call a beater mod I was inspired by russ's video's of his torture testing his aluminum reo... truth is there is really so little damage after all this, no cracks or significant chips or gouges, just some little marks that could seriously be able to just sand and polish out... the brass drip tip did get a little messed up though, deeper gouges on the drip tip than anywhere on the mod itself





then I was thinking since it ha so little damage, what would happen if I ran it over with my 5,300 pound truck?




still nothing, no significant damage at all really, nothing cracked even though some of the wall thicknesses on this mod are less than .07" thick and the chip stood up to all of this fine, after changing the drip tip I'm vaping it right now as I post this, so that's how durable this ultem mod really is
