So I've been vaping on my laser mod for a while now, and it's pretty sweet - mad props to cisco - but it was just missing something. I need lights damnit, I need **** that lights up so people can go "Oooooh! I want one!" when I'm out and about. Took a few days, lots of swearing, and a new soldering iron - but it's finally done. The Laser mod 2: Electric Booglaoo!

Heck, I'm already using 48 mg ...they make 75? 8-o

Yeah, bliplabs.com, but it's a "research use only" solution, so you've got to do your own flavors. 7.5% pure nicotine, 92.5% USP PG. Their sales rep emailed me the MSDS, its the same stuff as in e-liquid, but without any unknowns or additives. I love the stuff, all I use now - been running 10-20% lorann to pg+nic of whatever strength, theres no bitter aftertaste so you're not trying to cover anything up and can use a lot less.

Wrong thread though, more oohing and aahing over how awesome this mod is!

great stuff nerf, so you completley replaced the nosecone with what Nylon ?

what about the LED, what did you use ?

looks pretty cool..

I put LED's in my ones , I just attached old ones from the ecig batts and wired them to the PCB and put a hole in the body. But yours is cooloer , the whole nosecone illuminates..nice.

I just ordered some plasti-coat so I can rubberize the body on my next one i do , just to see how it comes out.

Nicely done nerf. Biggest thing about mods for me is lack of lights! One thing I want in a mod also is the smart light, so to speak, to flash that annoying sequence of light to remind me to change the battery. I know it ****** me off when my OEM batteries do it but miss it in a mod. Very nice mod. I love the laser mod.

Nice lookin mod, Nerf. In the second pic the LED looks yellow but in third it's red. Is that just the way the camera picked up the light, or do you have multiple LED's in there?

I use LED's in all my mods, mainly to know if my batteries are good (but partly for the bling factor). Wait until you see my latest, you can use it as a flashlight. It's really too bright.

I just got some new LEDs in tonight. I was tempted to walk around with a battery to hook it up and ask people "hey, is this bright?" while blinding them. A little over a buck a pop may sound expensive, but when it makes you see spots, you know you're on the right track.

good looking mod, nerf! I'm an led fan-boy, so it's a good addition to the laser mod. :D I did try acrylic rod but found the material to be a pain in the rear to turn down to the correct diameters and it doesn't diffuse the light nearly as nicely as the nylon does. Speaking of bright led's....my first mod was a AAA Nicostick box mod w/ a rectangular high intensity led. That thing was so bright that I actually stopped using it for vaping and used it for a flashlight! :p
