It's a silicone trivet, rated to 446ºF.. I use a semi clear one though here's a link to a red one.

Glen54----- is this silicon you use the same stuff that is at walmarts that oven bakeware pans and other baking products are made with? The kinda flimsy stuff. I use a small poly plug with a cut ss pipe screen which works better than blue foam or fluval. I will have to try this. I know the bakeware stuff can handle high temps. Good idea.
