Quick Question on my ultrafire 16340 batts

I received 2 new sets of the Ultrafire 16340 3.6V 800mAH.
I put a volt meter on them and they all read 3.8v.

My question is, does the sure fire charger cycle (discharge) before charging the batts?
I dont want to put hem in the charger if they all read full charge already.

Also I have 2 sets of Tenergy 3.0V RCR123a. Will these work in the BP and if so will it in any way harm the BP electronics?

They should read 4.2 volts when they come off the charger. The charger is a smart charger so it will charge them until they are charged and then stop charging.
The 3 volt will work but not very long. The regulator needs 3.7volt batteries to work properly.

Li-ion batts gave no memory, in that respect, they don't need to be fully discharged before charging.

That being said, make sure you have a smartcharger so that you don't overcharge the batts.

If you also have a tr001 charger, make sure you don't try to put the 3v batteries in it.
