I think you guys are blowing what I said way out of proportion. Your description didn't give me enough information to even understand what the free product was. I think that was in error.
If you were in business selling the product and you posted an advertisement like that, you would only get sales from those who already knew what your product was - even if your ad did re-direct them to a web page. Sorry if you disagree. I was only trying in the spirit of fairness to give you some good advice.
