Anyone has a tarnished GGTS? I would like to restore it to showroom condition.

Hi guys, i am considering a GGTS but will like to touch/feel use it for a week. If anyone will be willing to lend me their tarnished aluminium GGTS, I will offer to do a full restoration to showroom shine for it. I am good with the dremel!

I will put picutes of my megalodon that i have polished to a great finish.

Exactly! But it is not just polishing, it is a full restoration. I do restoration of watches with bad conditions ( it's my hobby), as long as it is metal, i can restore it!

Thanks bro, I am digging a GGTS but cannot bear to part with the $300 or so to get a full kit, the best way would be to use one first. I know like that sounds a bit cheapo, but I guess for someone with no idea on metal maintenance, i can help them.

Ya GG is costly but it sure last a long way IMO. Oh so beside polishing to look new, what if there's scratches? U buff them out too? Just curious.

if it is not super deep stratches, it is not an issue as aluminium is a soft metal and easily restore, SS takes more time.
