Ive just installed my first drip shield and adapter on my Silver bullet, I notice that I can't tighten the adapter all the way down flush, and I don't want to push the center post down. What I do is put the atty on the adapter first so I is flush with adapter, then screw onto battery until it fits snug. As long as its firing it's ok right? Will it just not fire a all if the center posts don't make contact? Is it possible to only have it fire "slightly"? Or does it either work or not work, no in in between? Also, does using an adapter protect the battery threads since your not constantly taking attys/carts on and off? How do you other Silver bullet guys use 510-510 adapters? Sorry for all the questions, just concerned with pushing the center post too fat down or ruining the threads. Thanks!
