Shes a non smoker and has never smoked. She says while the vape smells much better than the cigarette smoke it still smells like burnt paper after the good smell has faded (vanilla in this case).

I thought this was maybe my coil being clogged up but I put a brand new one in and she says it still smells the same.

Thoughts?

Are you vaping at a high wattage? Maybe you're burning the juice a little and for whatever reason can't taste it?

Is kinda odd but we have to remember, like smoking - we didn't know how we smelt to non-smokers and even though vape generally smells nice/neutral there may be smells in there that we're not aware of simply because we're vaping..?

Guessing you don't have an ohm meter? You obviously have a vv,but it's possible you have a 1.8 coill, which would likely burn your juice at 4.4. Did you buy the clearo and battery together from a B&M store?

The battery was part of a starter kit from my local smoke shop. It is this:

I recently bought a Kanger Protank 3 and its what I am using now.

A friend says his family (All non smokers.) smells "moth balls" when he vapes high or pure PG. Could that be it?
I vape only unflavored VG nicotine base and 5% water. Nobody smells anything. I taste it through and it isn't mothballs (unless I've been hanging around mothballs).

Ok on the box of the Protank it probably came with 2 coils of different ohms, right? It should say what they are? I know on one I bought it came with a regular 2.5 ohm coil and then a 1.8. The 2.5 shouldn't burn at 4.4 (depending what/how you're vaping) but the 1.8 might (again depending).

Yup.. One way to find out is remove the coil head and it will be labeled near the contact.

The dual coil says 2.0 ohm
