apparently the bottom o-ring has a flat and a raised side. the way it faces is very important for leaks. both sides of the o-ring look exactly the same to me! could someone please explain what the difference in the sides is I am looking for? I am not sure if it is there or the pin but having the o-ring seated right would be a good start. this thing is soaking me. I am sure this is user error.

edit: I did not notice a difference because of the colored o-ring kit I am using. both sides are exactly the same. the stock red one does indeed have a raised and flat side. perhaps these o rings are the culprit. strange as many people are using them. or it is leaking somewhere else or for some other reason. I am really bummed about this. I will put back the stock o ring and see what happens.

edit: well this is nuts. the guy said it was just dirty. he put it in the ultrasonic cleaner. it was fine for hours. until I refilled it. leaks again. I am going to go kick myself. I am truly sorry about this.

nic_fix, sorry you're having such a fit with that thing. It's not cool when it's the first one you own. But I'm here to tell you, Kanger hit it out of the ballpark with this design for the most part. There's always room for improvement. I own the original Sub tank and bought two Mini's (skipped the Nano) and have this new Plus. All of them are great.

The o-rings are usually the culprit when these tanks leak.

Hey guys, I have a Subtank Nano (which I love), and am looking to buy either a Mini or a Plus (they're the same price). I have an istick 50w -- do you guys (and gals) think the Plus would look stupid on it? Would it be too big? Also, would it be impractical to travel with?

Thanks in advance for the input. This thread has been immensely helpful / insightful.

Get the Plus. Even with a wider diameter, you still get 7 ml of juice capacity. How it looks isn't an issue. It's how it performs.

I have them all too. it is pretty much fixed. phew. a drop leaks out the air holes as it sits but that is fine. i am glad you guys saw me through on this. I agree this thing is great. if you want to pay for coils it is almost as good as any rba. really. I have mine at 560f and 35 watts! yes, that may be why it leaked but he managed to stop it. I know that is high but it kicks it to 18-21 watts. the flavor and clouds I say is better than my 3 kfl+. nearly as good as tonh imo! I am really happy now! thanks!
