BUMP ...
Still have this unsolved issue. Anybody had some similar experience / solution ?

I did it with a VTwo Mini. Twice. The first time I had superglued it, so that one was toast. The other time I was able to remove the reversed magnet with another strong magnet. If you can pick up a rare earth magnet, that might do it for you.

The only other thing I can think of is to try to remove the cover magnet. If it comes out any more easily you could flip it as well and solve the problem that way.

Woot woot. Mailman brought me a present yesterday. Hefty little bugger but I love the button.. You can thumb it, or you can squeeze it... Perfect

Sandstorm looks like titanium, which kinda makes me wish it was titanium

Had more fun with my Jac.

I was getting up from a chair and dropped it on the floor. I had got it working by installing a metal washer between the tank and the top of the mod to complete the negative connection. After I dropped it the ohm reading went bad again. Discovered there was a gap between the washer and the tank. I guess the tank hit the floor first and pulled the 510 up in the top of the tank.

Fixing it wasn't hard. I just tapped the 510 back down flush with my trusty hammer so the washer filled the gap again. Meaning the 510 is loose and probably getting looser.

I wonder if the later models have got away from the press fitted 510.

Next drop and you're gonna need to put that thing in traction.

Bronze read my mind. Are you playing handball with that thing, Mick? ;)

Good thing they make things kinda tough over there.

Vapor Skinz now has the 22mm, 23mm, and 25mm sizes on the website. I should have my two new ones soon. I can't say enough good things things about the black leather one I bought for the original Jac! Fits like a glove. I normally wouldn't bother with skins, but since these weren't cheap (to me!), it's worth it to keep them protected in my purse and from the VERY rare carpet tumble from my 10 week old kittens! lol

I wish it had cerakote coating like provari did, and no press fit connector. That thing still looks like new after more then 5 years of daily vaping. Oh well

I've never even seen a REAL Provari except in pics :(
Then you sadly missed out on a truly iconic vaping device. Sometimes you can find previously owned Provari's in ECF's classified section or E-bay.

In its heyday, it was arguably one of the top mods ever mass produced. Only the bottom feeder Reo Grand had such a large following of loyal fans. Both were reliable, dependable, and almost indestructable.

Aside from its industry leading workmanship and customer service, many owners (myself included) insisted it just vaped "smoother" than other mods. This was likely due to its unique chip made in the USA to military specs and tuned to an 800 hz frequency, while most other chips at the time were tuned to 33 hz.

The Rattlesnake Effect- Why the Cheapo VV [Exception Itaste MVP] Don't Vape the Same as a Provari or DNA20D

Why Provari?

The high frequency pulse modulation made all the difference in the world. Those low frequency PM mods were horrible.

I wish ALL mods had ZenKote options, with a preference for Gunmetal. :D

I've just remembered they verify first evolve mod (people behind dna) thats looked like TV remote with 510 sticking on the side
Provari was tough as nails. Machined stainless steel all the way. First linear (high frequency stab). If you had one, there was 0 motivation to get anything else. Hence that's why I managed to stay in in the cave for so long. Jac is my third vape mod, and it's not even holding a candle to provari execution wise. Design wise I dig it, but soft touch on button and uber mega sandstorm coating will probably last a year, maybe 2. Dna is allright though, works and hopefully reliable. Why not do the solid female plate on the mod and go with baked ceramics for coating? I would definitely pay premium to be able too retire mods when they become technolocally obsolete not when they break.
