    Somewhere between here and there
Screen started going on and off and reading gibberish - and the mod wasn’t doing what the screen said it was supposed to be doing. Gave up and put it on the side maybe a month ago when it pretty much stopped doing anything. Too bad, as I liked the form factor a lot and it did TC well while it worked.

A little disenchanted with the DNA75 now. Have a Jac, an Inbox and a Lavabox Mini. The Jac is dead and the Inbox’s screen seems to be getting dimmer and dimmer - barely readable now even indoors. Only the Lavabox M is still trouble-free.

Considering an Odin Mini now. Thinking that I should try a dna 75C mod before they disappear from the market. Heh.

Does your computer detect it in escribe? Just curious.

The way I see this mod on pics in official site i believe its very easy to take it apart... if there was a cable problem u could solder it if u have done soldering before...
but if it's the PCB or any chip problem then u can't do anything...

U know your mod tho...if ever in the past there was any leakage of juice on the mod or any other liquid then u can take it apart and clean all the board and every thing either isopropyl alcohol...and maybe u are lucky
and ofc an eye check for any black spots like burned or any residue can maybe show you what is the problem...before u even try clean it...
Also seems that u can buy screen replacement for dna boards...
I had no idea u can get parts for that stuff...cool

I'm looking for a 75c but Odin mini is huge. Check ZQ Essent with 21700 or Prisma with 18650. Both are around $150.

Edit; anyone has problems with the Series B battery door? Mine is moving left-right almost 1 mm and it's not flush with the body which sometimes triggers my ocd. I could fix that by putting a thin foam on the inside and sand down the door to be flush with the body but I don't know what finish to use to mach the rest of the mod. And I'm afraid I can use only spray cans so I don't know how would that look like.

    Yes. Just checked.

Fires, but screen is blank. Probably singed a wick in the process. Heh.

One I had would go blank when I pressed the fire button. The display cable probably got pinched.

    The 18650/20700/21700 Odin Mini (90.5mm x 36.3mm x 32mm) is actually not much bigger than the 18650 Aegis Solo (86.4mm x 42mm x 31.5mm) which I often pocket when I’m out and about.

The ZQ Essent is ok and is worth considering, but a nice Prisma is out of my price range.
