stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
Thanks for the input everyone.

I have about 1000ml of DIY 80/20 6ml sitting on the shelf so I think I'll use my iCare with that and see how it goes.

For my girlfriend, I think I'll mix up some 50/50 12ml recipes to try to get her off the stinkies.
show her mtl and dl.......sometimes dif vape styles is all it takes to get hooked.

Ignore the reviewers on this one. They had their minds made up before they even unboxed them.

I cut my mix from 18mg to 12 for these(which I was planning to do anyway). Glad I didn't listen to the taking heads. I'll be cutting back to 8 or 9mg with my next mix. Don't assume this thing is a toy just cuz it's little. It IS almost subohm and vapes like a champ.

I agree - I stayed with my 100%VG 3mg NET juice and I've had no issues. I leave the air wide open so its a restricted DTL and it works excellent.

I'm sure u can hold these in your teeth and get a draw for hands free occaisionally, but wonder how often u could do that before the mouth piece would damage. While at work I use 510 auto's now with E-smart clearo's and carto's need hands free for work.Wonder how long these would last doing this alot..TIA

I just gave this a try. :lol:o_O:rolleyes: Tip is so shlooort that I needed to stick the entire mod in my mouth to grip it with my teeth. As the plastic tip is hard and slopeing I couldn't really get a good grip at all. Doesn't get narrow in the middle then wider again at the top like a normal clearo drip tip.

The regular one. Mini might be doable?

I have yet to try a rebuild of these coils. But I found a video that looks encouraging. Not the iCare coil but I like the way she uses the tweezers to wrap the cotton and then stuff the coil into the head. I wouldn't have thought of it.

I Like, Thanks. :w00t: Going to have to try that next time I build a vertical coil as wrapping the cotton in a pain to do. :D

Yeah, I did a couple verticals in my Kanger coils. What a PITA! After seeing that wrapping method I may revisit my PT2s just fer fun.

It's the mini by itself with no PCC.
Ive had good service from these guys, fast to ship and no issues at all.

Litecigusa also has some great prices on the icare - I'm going to quit looking around, I ended up buying a couple more when I saw this deal. Free shipping and there's a coupon code "returns" that knocks off $5 if you spend $35 or more.

After a couple of weeks with the iCare, I see no reason for me to be looking at any of the other small, or pod mods. I like this for out and about, and that is what I bought it for. One exception would be the mini, I will no doubt get one of those. :)

Well I finally dun it. Rebuilt one with 1.5 ohm nr-r-nr FT coil and JOC. Wasn't nearly as difficult as I expected even with my shaky hands (driver stress NOT age;)).

I'm really quite happy with it. Now, with the same airflow setting as the factory coil the vapor does come up a tad short. I had been doing 2 airholes open and a gentle MTL with original coils. With this coil I've removed the afc and I'm doing a long gentle DTL. Perfect *for me*. All the vapor I'll ever need and that all important snappy sizzle is still there.

Flavor? I vape a near flavorless concoction and with the factory coil it might just as well have been flavorless (and I was fine with that). With the JOC I'm actually getting a hint of flavor again. Who knows, if we can get rayon to work we may actually get some good flavor out of these things?

I'm pleased with what I got from my first attempt with rebuilding these but I think I'm still gonna order some straight 1.3 ohm wires from FT for the heck of it.
