Well the time has come. Just finished cleaning, de-wicking and dry burning my previously favorite Lemo tanks. They're ready to go back in the box and join the rest of my doomsday stash when I get home. So I thought I'd spruce up my plain black iCares a bit by putting the rubber baby buggy bumpers from the tanks on them.
Inadvertently discovered that the vape bands make for easy 'on the fly' air flow adjustment without the need pull out the shaft. ;)

Couldn't find Fat vape bands, but seen some vapers just using Orings. I think I'll be doing that. Or maybe stuff from Craft supplies stores.

Don't know if I'm already too late to respond but i figured I'd answer the questions for anyone reading the end of the forum.

Battery life is surprisingly good for how small it is roughly 5-6 hours for me. Plus it definitely helps that it is passthrough. I couldn't really charge my 18650s while using my sigelei.

Flavor isn't too bad. Definitely better than a cigalike.

Airflow is pretty good for what it is.

I've found my coils from a site called perfect vape for $4.10 for a 5pk

To clean it and change juices I've found it works best to use q-tips dipped in water rather than a syringe because I'm worried about water getting into the usb port or air sensor.

Lastly YES you can rebuild the coils. I found out the hard way after accidentally throwing out my only fresh coil that came with the device. Most difficult part was finding the right resistance without a proper ohm meter and aligning the coil so that it wouldn't short out on the top of the coil head. I used 28g wire with 9 wraps around a 2.4mm screwdriver. It really isn't difficult to rebuild, it's just a little meticulous

Got mine today, picked a red one because I saw somewhere that the black finish wasn't holding up. I've got to say it's absolutely tiny and it's not even the mini version. It feels solid, especially considering the price point. I Haven't used it yet because the highest mg liquid I've got is 6mg and I think I want 9 or 12mg.

I use 6mg/ml in mine, it's the hand to mouth for me, not the nic, give it a try with what you have, you don't need high nic. JMHO :)

I have two mini's on the way!

I have a couple of questions about the eliquid everyone is using.

    For myself:
What's the overall consensus about PG/VG ratio? I DIY my juice at 80VG/20PG - will I have to change that you think? Also, my NIC level is 6mg - should I double the strength like most reviewers are saying?

    For my girlfriend:
She is going to try using one of these to quit smoking. Right now, she's about a PAD smoker (Malboro Special Blend 100 Lights) - what NIC level do you suggest I start her with?

    Thanks,
    Chris

start her at 12mg or lower if you can,, encourage her to chain vape for the first week. keep her at 12 until she doesnt like the taste or see if you can walk her down by 1mg every few weeks

Not sure that thick of juice would wick. I have tried a 70pg/30vg and a 50/50, and both no problems. The higher the PG the more flavor and throat hit you will get. As you DIY, you can try different ratios to see what works best for you.

I am not having an issue with 80VG/20PG, and believe me, if the wife was, she'd be letting me know too!!

I won my two kits from HG.
Ha! I traded a Cuboid mod I had won for my 2 iCares that another member won from HG. As a matter of fact I was so pleased with the iCares that that I threw in a New Cloupor T8 when I packed up my end of the trade. 2 mods for 2 mods just seemed like the right thing to do.o_O

Ignore the reviewers on this one. They had their minds made up before they even unboxed them.

I cut my mix from 18mg to 12 for these(which I was planning to do anyway). Glad I didn't listen to the taking heads. I'll be cutting back to 8 or 9mg with my next mix. Don't assume this thing is a toy just cuz it's little. It IS almost subohm and vapes like a champ.
