I travel A LOT for work, and strangely enough, Florida (where I live) has one of the largest vaping scenes I've experienced during my travels.

No B&M's within a frequent shopping distance, and that is in LaCrosse. I rarely see a fellow vaper. Cig store that was getting into vape stuff is going out of business.
Florida Space Coast here. vaping has grown exponentially here in the last couple years. Big vaping scene here, and it's even bigger in the Orlando area.
I live in Central Florida. I have not seen any vapers in my travels here. But I have explained what my Silver Bullet is hundreds of times. There is only 1 vape shop within 50 miles of me. I do all my buying of vape stuff online.
Vaping in colorado and all the smoke shops have vaping supplies. There are a lot of smoke shops near me. We also have 4 or 5 vape shops, but I only visit 2. The prices are high, but I love blowing clouds over people with little evods and teaching them about coils. I'm 18 and love teaching older adults that you don't need to be technologically advanced to take the next steps in vaping. You just need to know safety and basic knowledge of ohms law and coil wrapping.
South coast of Massachusetts. There are only 2 vape shops in my area. I've only seen 2 people vaping besides me - one is the girl who runs the vape shop, the other is my daughter's SO.

It seems like florida is a hot spot for vaping! No one out there from jersey? (ocean county to be specific((toms river to be even more))) It really interests me to hear about the UK and the rest of europe. According to the interwebs the UK has a really huge vape scene but that is sadly not reflected in this thread. Is there a way to do poles?

I spend part of my time in Ottawa and part of the time in Montreal (where I am studying at university) in Canada. The vaping scene is taking off in Montreal with vape shops popping up all over the place. I have seen a lot of people with PVs walking around (mostly eGo-style devices, but some mods too). Ottawa has a few shops too, but vaping doesn't seem nearly as prevalent there.
Teeny tiny town in North Dakota. I've never met another vaper in person, and the nearest B&Ms are 65 and 75 miles away (but I already do most of my other shopping online) but the owner of our local bar/restaurant knows more or less what vaping is, and has no problems with it.

Vaping has taken off here but nothing too fancy. Lots of disposables in gas stations. I also see many ego setups when out and about. I have yet to see a vape shop per se. It's mostly tobacco shops with a small and limited vaping section.

Macon, Georgia. Thanks to Stormy's Vapor Cellar B&M vaping is taking off in middle GA. I routinely see vapers on the street.
