Vivi Nova metal tanks leak

I bought the blue metal vivi nova tank, leaked horribly, tossed it in the trash. With the plastic tubes it feels like they thread nicer, maybe the metal digs into the plastic better? When you tighten the metal ones, it's metal on metal so they just kinda stop & you can't tighten it anymore.. I wouldn't recommend buying any of these until they announce some type of revision on the threads..

I dont remember if the silver or the red one that leaked had the beveled edge. It makes sense that if the edge was slanted it would leak. All I remember was that when I screwed it in it only took about one turn compared to the 4-6 on the ones that dont leak.

I just picked up one of these last night and lost a whole tank of blueberry juice :/. I left it on my maxi roughstack standing up and woke up to it in a puddle. I'm wondering if the Vivi Nova I placed it on is a clone, I'm going to try it on one of the genuine ones tonight.

I've been using a black tank on a mini for the past week without any problems.

Are you sure it's leaking through the tank,
I've had leaks but found that it was from where it screws into the battery.

The leaks went away. I have 3 metal ones and never had it leak from the tank itself.

I take back my previous post. I've had alot of problems with the metal tanks. I don't think that they line up correctly. I stopped using metal and my Vivi Novas have been flawlessly working on the top.

I ordered a silver from gotvapes, it leaks and has no o-rings. I emailed them, and am waiting for a response. I ordered a sleeve from vaporalley, which looks exactly the same, it came with nice fat white o-rings. Not a chance in hell of it leaking. Vaporalley may be able to sell you guys some o-rings. They can't cost more than 25 cents a piece, which is expensive, but after all, it is food grade silicone. Thanks, and good luck, of course, this is an old thread, so I am sure you have figured something out. Let us know if you did.

anyone ever figure or find out what size o-rings on the Vivi Nova metal tanks???

what about a small amount of Teflon tape or Vaseline on the threads? ... either should be safe since they use Teflon tape on water pipes and what not.
