Fixing a leaking Vivi Nova V2 metal tank-tube

I'm bummed... So I got a metal tube that replaces the clear plastic tank piece of my Vivi Nova- and IT LEAKS! Leaked all over my hands in a very unfriendly manner. Is there a fix for such a thing? Homemade gaskets? Techno-diapers? alien intervention? I don't think it would be a good idea for me to slap some plumber's thread-tape on it. If I only had a CNC machine and $6,000 worth of software and classes.

Thanks in advance for destructive/constructive/mourning advice.

Sane problem I think filing down the offending area might solve this problem havnt had a chance to look properly only just fitted the metal tank today and been leaking since :-(

Check your o-rings. If they aren't making a solid seal then you can replace them at a hardware store, bring the Vivi with you so you get the right size. If it's not that then email the vendor for a replacement.
