Ultra Fire Protected Battery 18650 from Hong Kong Yay or Nay?

Any mod vapers using Ultra Fire Protected 18650 battery (from Hong Kong) in ecig or mod box? Are these okay since they are protected but from Hong Kong? I'm seeing good prices on eBay for these batteries. 2x Ultrafire 3.7V 2400mAh LC 18650 Protected Battery - eBay (item 270657208235 end time Dec-30-10 06:08:42 PST)

Madvapes has them for $7.59 each. A little more expensive, but much quicker turnaround. I would probably go with a known supplier, myself.

I buy mine from Deal Extreme, 2 for around $8 free shipping. Takes about 3 weeks to get them though so as long as you dont need them ASAP its good.

Don't worry about the HK thing. IMO, most, if not all, of our batteries are made in China.

the grey 2400mAh ones are known to be a total crap shoot as far as quality goes...you're as likely to get non working ones as working ones....

other *fire 18650 batteries aren't as bad...though their mAh ratings arent nessicarily known to be accurate...

but my preference is toward AW batteries or the new redilasts anyway
