Thread protector

I just got my Vamo 5. I had already bought a 510 to ego adaptor, to use as a thread protector. I wanted to use it to prevent the threading from going bad. However, it is not working with most of my my clearos, which are a mix of ego and 510 threading. Is there one that works with both kinds, for someone who is nearly constantly rotating flavors?

That sounds like me a flavor rotation wore there always a new flavor to try.
I have a v5 with a 510 air controller to protect the 510 threads and when the need arises I have the 510/ego adapter for ego tanks air controller 510-eGo adapter

I just got information that the VAMO 5 has resolved the thread failure problem. Nice, if true. A thread protector would not be necessary unless threads show signs of wear.

I hope you get better luck then I did my 510 connections are rather lose so there's noticeable wobble without my 510 air controller

The 510 threads are MORE likely to fail. So therefore, using a 510 to ego thread protector would place more stress on those threads, especially if you have a lot of eGo threaded devices.

I might get the air controller if I start having problems.
