Thread Lube?

I'm using a Prodigy v3.1 right now (all SS) and have to constantly lubricate the switch threads with graphite. I was wondering - is there any other lube that is better fit for the job? I looked at some Noalox, but as far as I've read, that's mainly for aluminum, not SS.

Any educated suggestions appreciated!

I don't have a Prodigy, but for SS generally a very light coat of vaseline would do a nice job.

Hmm. Seems worth a try. Does anybody know of anything that's somewhat long term and/or anti corrosive?

I used vaseline a light coating on my Lavatube and its held up for the last month and doesn't seem to be wearing out at all.

I agree with vaseline. White lithium grease would be a good choice as well.

I use Noalox on my Icon and haven't had any problems.

Bert's Beeswax lip balm sticks work pretty good on my Roughstack. I have to reapply it every couple of weeks, so I may experiment with petroleum jelly and see if that lasts longer on the threads.

You want the Noalox. It also helps in keeping a solid connection through the threads. I use all PureSmoker mods and have never had issue. Also sandpaper scuff and put a thin layer of Noalox on your center post and the top of the contact spring.

Noalox is what most people use on Mods
