Hot hot here already today...DH's helper bailed on him again today so he is home. He just can't do the work by himself anymore.

Dang sore throat and fever kicked back in on me about an hour ago

I think I'll put on a pot and make some chicken soup even tho it's dang hot here !
I think too I will make it spicy.

Hey Classy. Try NyQuil and gargle with salt water. Get plenty of rest.

silly tale...I can not swallow nyquil...I love the taste, but my throat knows it is green...I have stood at the mirror with it in my mouth telling myself to just swallow it...and I can't ( and dark doesn't work either)
(the only reason I can come up with the green issue is that when I was a kid the medicines were green / lime)
I eat veggies, but not green candies or icing...

Lots of ginger tea with cayenne and honey

Tehehehe NyQuil is great for most everything but I can't give it to myself, either my husband or kids have to pour it in my mouth while I hold my nose. If I get one wiff of it before I can clean my mouth out with water it will be coming back up.
