There are about 3 maintenance tasks that were run daily. We rescheduled a couple but that still leaves one running at 1 am EC - the main backup.

Since most members are in EC zone we'll move that to their 'dead' time, say 5am EC. But like Quas said, we are global so somebody somewhere has to pay. When it's good for US EC, it's bad for Pacific or Europe or wherever.

Depends who sends me the best 5 volt mod, maybe I'll fix it so they are in the clear. There have got to be some perks to this job :)

maybe that main backup could be on a rotating schedule, let's say every 3 months, so nobody will be affected without relief coming up sooner or later.

ha, I've noticed this happening everytime I'm on, but never made any correlation to it being maintenence. Actually didn't even realized it happened at the same time every time till I saw this post. Duh.

Anyway, I'm always on late, so I think it should be in the middle of the day. Wait, no, I'm on then too a lot, it should be at like 5am pacific. I'm never up then :) Not by choice anyway, lol.
