That is absolutely beautiful. I just can't justify spending that much when I already own at least a dozen mech squonkers. But gawd it's pretty.

Thank you!!!

Squonkers??? LOL, I have 30, a mix of mech and regulated.

Probably my favorite mech squonker is the Krönig mods Krönig Box 18650.

Doesn't your Game Over squonker have the Omegavaper Nucleo chipset??? It wasn't doing TC correctly or something???

Yeah, I was thinking with your skills you could likely fit a dna 60 or BF60 in it.
Yep that's right, in the end it didn't work in wattage either, fluctuated so much in resistance that it couldn't work lol

In January it will be one year since the clowns received it for warranty repair. The mod is great, but it doesn't help much when the company is rotten.

That said, I got a lot of my own squonker ideas with the mod.

Yesterday Dejan Aleksandrovic, designer/owner Limelight Mechanics, released info and photos for their new SbS mod via the FB group.

Marty also posted some info, photos and a video in his SbS group.

    Details......

    Battery: 18650
Chip: Evolv DNA60 or Dicodes BF60 (DNA60 version includes USB dongle)
    Max diameter: 24mm
    510 drop/recess: 32mm
    Fire button: front
    Weight: 120g

Optional: 22mm to 24mm beauty ring

Chip installation is modular, meaning, one could swap a DNA60 for a BF60.

I think it's easily, by far, the nicest looking SbS mod out there (to date).

    IMG_3756.JPG

Basic version. Very clean minimalist design........ huge plus.

    IMG_3753.JPG

Optional wood body/sleeve (held in place by magnets). Not held in place with magnets, see the video in my next post.

    IMG_3755.JPG

    IMG_3754.JPG

Smaller optional wood insert and is held in place w/magnets (per video).

The tank shown on the SbS is Limelight's Arch Tank (24mm), it accommodates any AIO/Boro RBA.

IMO, their mod is the most well thought out SbS design of any (to date).

Per Dejan they will be available as soon as today for members of the Limelight FB Group first. At some point they will appear in Limelight's online shop.

Per Dejan's FB post of a few minutes ago, the Limelight SbS release is delayed a couple days..

"Yesterday, after showing off the details of the SBS, quite a few of you pointed out that it would be beneficial to have an adjustable 510 which enables positioning the atty in a certain position and by doing so, being able to align an atty's airflow as you like...

So, I have been at it since then and adjusted the design for this feature. Currently machining the parts and I expect to have the final design confirmed by Monday. Will keep you posted."

The only other SbS I have with a very well designed adjustable 510 for the atty AF is the Tek Division Legacy DNA60.

    IMG_3757cr.jpg

You can see the adjustment thumbscrew just below the atty. It's a SvoëMesto Kayfun Prime RTA.

So then........... a Limelight DNA60 SbS. Hmmm

Glad to see new sbs coming, the one from Limelight is a lovely mod, clever ideas from Limelight, as expected.
Favorite mod for me is sbs and will always be sbs.

To paraphrase the old Irish Spring soap commercials, "And I like them too."

Are these mods 18650 or 21700? I'm in the FB Group, although I'm a little lost (whats the best option for chipsets)? when looking at the Google Doc.

BTW, toss me a rope so I can get out of the HE Rabbit Hole if I splurge here.

They can actually be either, as there are many SbS mods of both configs. I prefer a small SbS mod so usually opt for the 18650s, but the Union mods (from Russia) handle both battery sizes, and are very similar in size to most 18650 versions.

I hate to say it, but if you came looking for a way OUT, ECF might not be the best recommendation, ;)
