Hello again and welcome back for today's review of a twist of sorts on the many versions of the Dead Rabbit rta's and the twist is this version is MTL. This rta has a diameter of 23mm and is a single coil with 2 different sized barrel chambers as well as 2 straight glass tubes of different sizes. Capacity of the standard glass and barrel chamber is 2ml with the extended barrel chamber and 2nd glass tube giving you 4ml, the rta ships in the 2ml configuration.

The Atomizer comes complete with a NI80 Clapton coil, shoelace cotton, spares bag of a top gasket, O-rings, Phillips head post screws and a tiny Phillips head screwdriver we all know so well. Also included are 2 drip tips of different lengths and styles so you get quite a lot in the value department.

There is also 4 different sized airflow holes so everyone should be able to find one they like. Before I give you my findings on this RTA lets get to know a little about it with some manufacturer information prior to my review. This RTA was provided to me from Sourcemore and at the end of my review I will leave a coupon code with a discount if purchased from Sourcemore, so without further delay lets get started.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

The packaging is nothing fancy but it is nice with a sleeve over a slide out box with the RTA, extended barrel with 4ml glass tube and 2nd drip tip up top with the user manual and 2 baggies containing your components underneath. Nice clean compact appearance.

I always give any new atomizer a bath in hot soapy water to remove any left over oils used in the manufacturing process and you should as well. The RTA breaks down easily into 5 pieces including the drip tip. Here's a few pictures showing both configurations, 2ml and 4ml and supplied coil.

The build deck is nothing that's really innovative but it has some nice features to it like side walls that help to hold and capture the coil legs and a honeycomb juice feed system of 4 holes on each of the 2 wicking wells that are fairly deep. Phillips screwheads seem strong as well. This is a very easy to build and wick RTA, the coil just needs to be centered and raised to the correct height.

Wicking the Dead Rabbit is also very easy to, cut the cotton at the end of the build and thin the ends very little, install the cotton tails into the juice wells by placing them inside ( DON'T STUFF ). juice up the cotton and your ready to go.

There are 4 airflow holes on this RTA going from a very tight draw to a comfortable loose draw, by no means can you get a RDL vape this is strictly a true MTL RTA. Knurling helps when adjusting.

Top fill of this atomizer has 2 large fill ports that will fit any sized bottle tip, the top cap is not a 1/4 opening but rather a full 3 turns to open.

I normally prefer short drip tips so I thought the beautiful jeweled one would be out of the question but to my surprise I kind of enjoyed it but much preferred the shorted one that's supplied.

The bore size of both are identical and put out great flavor but midway through testing I put on one of my own smaller bored drip tips to compare and found a smaller bore brings even more flavor from the RTA. I also had more flavor come through using it in the 2ml configuration.

Using any of the drip tips I found the airflow to be a bit wide and not as channeled as I thought it would be but that's just my take, don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with the airflow. I also noticed that coil crackle is very pronounced drowning out most of the airflow sound.

I really enjoyed testing this RTA and will continue to use it because of it's flavor, size and options. It works and works very well, the supplied Clapton coil was a treat as well. I think you get a big bang for your buck with everything that's included. I highly recommend this RTA 100%.I told you at the start of my review that I would leave a coupon code if you purchase it through Sourcemore and it is HRMR. I would like to thank Kavis and Sourcemore for providing the Dead Rabbit MTL RTA for review and I would also like to thank all of you that read my reviews.

    THANK YOU
