We could use a glorious day out here in southern MI. I'm gettin' sick of this rain. It'll probably be nice while I'm zonked out on pain pills and layin' around on the couch for the next couple days.

I didn't know you were having surgery Mist. I do hope everything comes out well and a quick recovery my friend.

Hey, thanks folks. I just have some bone spurs and a partial tear of the rotator cuff. They're going in arthroscopically and do a little trimming, laser a thing or two and send my dopey ... home. Actually looking forward to getting this done. that spur has been sawing away at those tendons for a while. Kinda limits my movement. I just joined a gym again and haven't been able to do any upper body work so I'm anxious to get this fixed.

You're a good pal 5C. I've been through this before. 6 years ago I had a similar problem in the other shoulder. They opened that one up to fix it and it took about 6 weeks to heal up. I'm told that this procedure is less invasive and the healing time is MUCH shorter. The doc wants me moving the joint around after one day of resting. Better hospital and better doc this time.

When the repaird the torn cartlidge under my knee cap The doc made me get up the next day. The nurse saw me and said what do you think your doing? I told her and she just shook her head. That was a painful ordeal. If I'd of had a pistol I would have ended it right there from the pain.

Dang 5C, I'm glad you didn't have a pistol!
@Mike, When the doc told me how he was going to do it and that I'd only be in a sling for one day I told him that if it wouldn't hurt so much I'd hug him. I've put this off for a while because I was dreading being without my right arm for weeks. I'm pretty happy about the whole thing.
