Did you know that lung cancer is on the rise for never smokers and people that have not been around smokers?

Makes me wonder if those who do get lung cancer, whether or not they smoked or were around smokers, were just genetically predisposed to getting it?

Just something to ponder....
Can you imagine the lawsuits that would ensue IF there was evidence to support a genetic predisposition to cancers despite external factors (e.g. people who get lung cancer w/o an external causality). The reversal of billions in settlements due to an overly simplistic Post hoc ergo propter hoc argument?

As you say, something to ponder.
