Two things I'm looking forward to right now. One is tomorrow when I can officially say I have not smoked in a week. Memory fades, but I don't recall a time in my life as a smoker when I went a week without a smoke. I'd cut way back, maybe skip a few days, have one or two a day, that sort of thing. I don't recall making it a full week without a smoke.

The other thing I'm looking forward to is not counting days. Maybe I'll keep counting the days for a while, but I'm looking forward to saying, "Two weeks without a smoke." That, of course, gets me closer to the time when I can count months. The first step is the one week milestone.

thats awesome to hear. i had never the intention to stop smoking, i was the most boneheaded person out there and i knew something major had to take place in order for me to stop smoking cigs....but looking back, this was a fairly easy transition for me. the first few days i had couple 3 cigs along with vaping but from day 4 and on i didnt have any. i dont count days anymore (i just look at the sig on the bottom of my posts lol) actually...i have the sig there to see the amount of cigs i have not smoked. keep it up fellow vaper!

Go Gordon. Big milestone coming up for you then. You're doing great.

I know i've passed all the milestones i need to pass. I have to really think hard about when exactly i had my last cigarette. Although i'm by no means being complacent here. It shows how insignificant smoking has become to me that i don't even remember when i last smoked. It don't matter to me......cos i aint going back.

Mn-puffer - 2,500 fags ??? Man, just think of the damage those fags alone could do. Let alone all those you did smoke. We must've been mad.

Good job!
my cellular internet sucks out here, so I can't see if you have one, but click on my banner and get yourself one, it makes it easier to track!

2 months, 2k cigarettes for me. It only gets easier, but only if you want it to.

I don't want to jack this thread, but I can't help making a comment.
I don't care how immature it is, I'm from the US, so "smoking 2,500 fags" here is not the same as in Europe. Here, that would be a the storyline to a porno.
I can't stop giggling.
I had and English woman as a Latin professor once. Imagine the look on her face when one of the other faculty members asked "you wanna go shag with my husband and I friday night? you're gonna love it!" (that's a type of dance in the southeast USA)

Blushed?
she about passed out. The american teacher didn't "get it". I couldn't stop laughing, and when I finally did, I managed to squeak out "mrs x., dancing; they want to take you dancing"

We did talk a great deal about "shagging" for the rest of the year though (we were 16 & 17 year olds, who wouldn't have taken that opportunity)

I was the same way now I'm the complete opposite. :p Watching the hours/days stack up gives me the same satisfaction of watching a savings account grow.

Congrats!! :D
