Yay! Tox finally getting delivered today, so we'll see how this thing is in real life! Crossing fingers it works, and works beautifully, cause i have to go out of town unexpectedly for an indeterminate amount of time. Bummer, cause if Tox doesn't work I was gonna order LT right away. Ah well, I guess I can always have it shipped to me when I'm out in Texas, but will have to get overnight shipping or my package will be chasing me all over US, and I'll STILL be desperate for a good VV vape. ;)

And MasterofDamph... hope you love the LT! You know some places even offer em in chrome? That totally surprised me. I thought it was just the 3 powdercoaty colors. ;)

They are supposed to be in stainless (the mini) at apollo on the 10th. I have the full tube in black and love it. Knowing me...likely to get the tox once a few bugs are worked out.

Great place to order from, and check out the copper while you are there. Not a VV, but a great 3.7v mod.
VaporAlley has it for $59.99 for a kit VA Variable Volt [/URL]
with $3-$6 shipping

You know, totally just shooting from the hip, here. But what do ya'll think the chances are that a few of these LT vendors will have a St Paddy's Day sale, and discount these guys even further? They can't go down that far, unless they're selling em for cost and making money on point of sale 'gotta get one of those, and one of those' kind of purchases, cause if they're factory bulk priced like the Tox, some of them are less than $20 over wholesale now, i think. But its certainly possible.

And thanks, MasterofDamph, for the correction. I keep calling them chrome, but that would be a whole lot more expensive. Stainless Steel. ;) And Evervjero, I dont think I've ever peeked at Vapor Alley, but i'll definitely check em out! The Copper is a new me, as well. I just ran into this wildly cool looking 3v wooden mod. I don't even know how to explain it.. its a flattish round disc shape, sort of. They're not even available, but they made me look twice because they were so gorgeous and unique looking... PV's But that's this industry, for you. Right when you think you start to get a handle on the basics, there's 10 more things you didn't even know were possible. I have a buddy who I think is gonna go nuts for that wooden one, but doesn't even look like you can get them anymore.

Definitely interested in hearing your experience with the Tox orachel, I'm hoping it works out well and meets your expectations! Even if not, litecigusa seems like a great vendor, I used to order from them 1 year+ ago when I first got into vaping and always had a good experience with em. I guess the fact that it's currently listed as "unavailable pending further testing", and the whole warranty thing kinda concerned me a little bit, but I think it's great that they're making sure that they're sending out solid units and not selling them again until they can be sure of that.

I'm thinking more and more that I'll just go for the ProVari and be done with it. I haven't run across one owner that's been unhappy with their purchase and that definitely says something. Knowing myself and how I'm always looking for the next "best" thing, I'd probably end up spending more on different mods than if I just ponied up for the ProVari initially. Still have a little more research to do though and I'm not ruling anything out.

Those are some really interesting looking mods you found there orachel, especially the "puc"! Must be pretty popular too as they're almost all out of stock.

Oh definitely knivesout... if you have the ability to buy a Provari and like it over the lesser priced options... I'm like you, dont' think I've ever seen an unhappy Provari owner. And LOTS of people do that... buy a whole bunch of gradually improving quality less expensive options, and then end up buying it anyway. That isn't something that makes sense in the long run, at least to me. ;) Wish me luck... we're down to the wire on the Provari contest at Gotvapes. Maybe I'll get lucky, but chances of that are uber slim. lol

Some my be selling them closer to cost on the sale just to drive traffic.

I am one of those who says "and one of those and one of those and one of those....". Like a mini hairball on a lower budget (although he does sell alot of his but I do not and will not sell mine). I stick to vendors I have ordered from before UNLESS there is a killer sal somewhere. Then, well, that vendor may get added to my list :)

Just to keep with topic, Top sales look like:
Torpedo VVV E.Cig - Wicked Wowzer Offer!
Full kit (reg) and juice! - 64$

Apollo VTube Kit
Full Kit (reg or mini) 60$

Cant wish you luck on the contest, but after I win you can come to the commiseration thread and verbalize how mad you are.
Playing since game 1 and still no wins :(
A bit off topic, but you brought it up :)
You must be talking about the puc! They look very...interesting...Email them and they may be able to tell you how to get one. Fairly simple box mod internally though. Check out the woodies from mom and pop vapor shop. Very fairly priced and nice woodwork (just tell Pop I sent you!). Vapor alley is a great vendor. I Met Rick, Who makes the coppers and runs it, about a year ago at Philly Vapefest. Really nice guy and VERY nice mods. The coppers are purely mechanical activation, so no switch to wear out. Worst case scenario, a spring needs to be replaced. If I had the "stuck on a desert island with one PV" situation, it would likely be my copper.

Yep I just ordered one and with 1st class shipping ($3) it came to $62.99..also it's the 2 battery kit so this is the least expensive LTVV kit with 2 batteries I've seen..I've been looking at this kit a couple days but I didn't want to post it here until I ordered one in case they sold out...

Are the 18650's IMR?
Is the charger a trustfire?

Looks like it's the same charger that comes with a lot of these kits as for the batteries I'm not sure but they look the same as most of the kits also. VaporAlley is a registered supplier here and before I bought from them I checked out his posts ect... and I trust he is selling something decent for a reasonable price.

For $59.99 for the VA Variable Volt Mod I think it's worth the chance. I'll get mine early next week I'm sure as he already packaged it and was going to ship it out this morning.

I got my VA Variable Volt Mod today..very fast I ordered it Friday night and got it today :)

The batteries are not labeled really but after some searching it appears they are Sanyo 18650 IMR's..they both came charged at 3.9v and the charger tests to 4.19v..I already charged one with no issue and it barely even got warm and it tested to the correct voltage.

I was surprised that everything seems made really decently..I thought the charger (model number HR-168 and it's 800mA) might not be very well made from pics but after having it in my hand it's pretty decent and I'm very happy with my purchase from VaporAlley and will purchase from them again :)

I got mine from Apollo... just ordered mon when the stainless steel ones ($5 upcharge) and the other colors came back in stock. Must be said that the price, and the free shipping (plus you get a $12 disposable for free if you add it to the cart w coupon code on site) plus year warranty makes this one of the best deals around. I think there's a thing where you get a $10 credit back if you post a review when it shows up, but not 100% sure its still going on. That year warranty does make a difference, as most of these seem to be reliable, but a few are a little fritzy. Just spoke to a newbie yesterday who had the misfortune of getting one with a cap that cracked asap. So watch out for your warranties guys! And if you got a so so warranty, you can always add on a 3rd party squaretrade warranty for somewhere around $10 for 3 years coverage. Better to spend the $10 now, than get stuck with a fritzy or broken one in 3 mos. I know you MUST order those squaretrade warranties within 90 days of your purchase, though.
