Wismec predator - Arctic Fox

I just did my weekly check and I'm happy to say that the Arctic Fox firmware is now updated to run on the predator.

I have no experience, yet, so I can't offer advice or support. What I can say is that I've installed it and so far so good

Just letting those waiting for it know it's arrived.

Hi there,

I'm pretty sure that can't be done... The link I provided has two downloads:

* NFE Toolbox
* Arctic Fox firmware

NFE toolbox is the tool used in place of the wismec updater for this firmware. It also includes the configuration software which it would be pretty useless without

I tried to use the NFE toolbox and the forums told me I had to install Arctic fox to the mod first with the Wismec updater so that it would work with NFE

I didn't see those instructions.

Inside the NFE toolbox folder, after you unzip it, is a program called Ntoolbox, When you start that there are various options, one is called "firmware updater" This is what I used.
Once you connect your mod and it is recognised by the software you will be able to "update from file" this is where you select your Arctic fox firmware that you downloaded along with NFE toolbox.
From there its all quite straight forward.

I installed Arctic Fox firmware on my Wismec Predator 228 and I like it a lot better than the Wismec oem firmware!
