I knew about this awhile ago but it only supported a small number of devices. Its been since updated to support a pretty big list of devices, including the RX2/3 and RX300 as well as some joytech devices. Link is below, make sure your device is listed on the page you are taken to when you click the link.
Make your $50 mod function with the features and functionality of a $200+ Evolv dna device!!
I dont think there is a huge risk of bricking your mod, but obviously, you are responsible for that...
If you want to make your Wismec or Joytech devices have the kind of functionality that a dna device has with escribe (and in alot of ways, its even better than the dna devices), this is the way to go, took literally two seconds to install (I hit the install button and it was installed in the time it took me to take a 2 second breath).
Since the RX2/3 and RX300 has bigger screens than the DNA devices, you also get more information on the display with this software. You also get a clock with a date, profiles you can disable, and proper TCR curve values. We are talking a csv file just like escribe uses. You even get a menu system where, in a pinch, if you need to adjust something on the device, you can even do that (the default firmware on the Wismec devices has no menu really worth mentioning, the custom firmware however adds a menu with a crap load of features).
The downloads are here, you need two downloads, arctic fox is a small firmware file that will be flashed to your device and NFE toolbox is the software that will do the actual flashing and allow you to modify the settings on the mod. The download links are near the top where it says pre-requisites, artic fox releases and nfe toolbox releases.

By the way, this allowed me to finally use temp control with stainless steel, for whatever reason, the RX300 wouldnt let me do temp control.
You may need to change a few things to allow temp control if you have issues. On the profiles tab, you might need to manually set your resistance on your mod if you know what it should be and then tick the "lock" resistance box just under where you set the resistance. Then, you need to go to Advanced and then the settings tab under that and uncheck the 'check TCR' box.
To enable the clock and date, you have to enable those as they are disabled by default (General, screen, show clock checkbox, and just under that, use the dropdown box to choose between analog and digital).
Anyway, I was going to buy another mod because I was feeling like my RX300 was so limited. No need now.
