Where to get quality PG/VG in Canada???

I've started a few threads asking about PG and VG, if there's better brands or things vendors may do to it to make an extra buck etc, haven't gotten too much info on replys but after asking a very informative friend about it I've learned there's a few things in some brands I don't care to vape, high metals count and even arsenic, I know eh, crazy.. So with that said I'm trying to source the best VG/PG suppliers in Canada, I know of one place in the US that's real good but shipping is expensive for this much weight. So I'm asking you old time DIY vets to help me and other new DIYers source good pg and vg, I now know to ask for the msds sheets as well. Surely there has to be a good safe supplier here. Cheers

I make my DIY from ecigexpress in Washington State. I have seen another customer post that they measured the nic content in the liquid they sell and it was dead on. We were ordering flavors from supplier in Ontario and e-nic liquid from Alberta! Too expensive! But I understand anyone selling e-nic in Canada runs the risk of getting busted, so they charge more! I was on the phone with major supplier in Ontario and they said straight out that tons of Canadians order DIY supplies from the States and even if it takes a few extra days(not much dif. compared o Cda post) it always gets through.

Both my wife make our own and have never had any symptoms of getting sick from vaping their stuff. The pricing on their flavors(all the major brands) is 1/3 of what you'll pay through the nose in our dear Canada. Have ordered from them 5 times without a hitch. Orders take a week and a half to arrive. If you want to try some pre-made stuff for special occasions, you might tr Virgin Vapor in California. They certify all of the ingredients they use.

Shoppers Drug Mart will order it at the pharmacy. In the larger bottles it is NOT the store brand, it is USP grade that they use in their pharmacy. 500 ml of Vegetable Glycerine is about $12 and 500 ml of PG is about $7, so total is under $20 before taxes.

It usually comes with their next daily delivery, they don't usually stock it. I've heard that some Shoppers won't order it but just try another or a different pharmacy if there is a problem. USP is the purest grade you can get. And no shipping charges!

Please note that ECF advice is that only pharmaceutical grade materials should be inhaled. Agricultural grade and industrial grade materials are guaranteed to contain contaminants: this is what the difference in grades means.

Propylene glycol, glycerine

Pharmaceutical grade:
Minimum contaminants, in some cases (but not all) 100% pure.
Use: topical, ingestion and inhalation.

Food grade:
Contains contaminants that can be dealt with by the digestive tract.
Use: topical, ingestion.
Should not be used for inhalation.

Agricultural grade:
Contains contaminants that should not be toxic when used externally on livestock.
Use: farm livestock.
Not for human ingestion and especially not inhalation.

Industrial grade:
Contaminants present in significant quantities to enable cheap production.
Use: machinery, plant, antifreeze, water treatment.
Not for human use in any form.

I have used food grade before I understood the different grades but I now use only USP grade because I know that it is the purest available and I know where to get it cheaply and easily.

Even if an online vendor sells USP grade, if it has been re-bottled they have negated the USP certification for purity. I buy it sealed from a national pharmacy.

None of this makes vaping safe but it is something I can do to remove an unknown from the equation. At a cost of less than 2 cents per ml (PG) and less than 3 cents per ml (VG), that's pretty cheap peace of mind.
