What do you vapers do with your pockets?

I'm aware of lanyards for PV's. But I don't like those and I'm hoping to keep this thread away from talk of those...

Back when I used to smoke, I kept my wallet and my smartphone in one pocket, because I didn't want my smart phone scratched. In my other pocket, I kept my lighter, smokes, and keys. Because it doesn't really matter if my keys scratched my cigarettes or my lighter.

But now that I vape, I'm one pocket short. I keep my wallet and my smartphone in one pocket still. In my other pocket I keep my PV (usually an MVP2). Then for my keys I've got a carabiner hanging off a belt loop.

The carabiner is an okay solution. But it does jangle some... Thinking I might be able to do better.

One ida I had is a key case. A key case like this one:

http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B0065HQE98/

But the thing is, those are so thin, it's hard to keep anything but an old fashioned, regular key in them.

Some of these key cases I've found do have an extra key ring sticking out for you to put something like one of those fatter modern car keys. But then your car key is sticking out of the case and could scratch up anything you keep in the same pocket.

To further complicate things, I keep a swiss army knife, small flashlight, and magnifying glass on my key chain as well....

I've been looking for a bigger case that will hold all that stuff. And I've put all those I keep on my keychain side-by-side on a table. If there were a case big enough to hold all of them, I would be fine carrying it around in the same pocket as my PV. All these things are miniature-sized, so there not as big as one might think.

But nobody's seen a product out there like that, have they? I'd make one if I knew anything about sewing with leather.

Or does anyone have any better ideas?

I don't have a solution for a key case but I use one of these to hang my keys/flashlight from my belt. My keys do jangle to a certain extent but not nearly as much as if I used a carabiner. They stay tucked tightly against my waste for the most part and they hang right next to my back pocket. I have found that if I slide one of my keys into the top of my back pocket it helps secure the assembly and the jangling is almost non existant.

For my MVP 2 I use an old BlackBerry case. It fits the mod and 1-2 tanks depending on the size of the tanks.

For my provari I use a cheap eyeglass pouch. The ones you can get from Walmart / target etc. Then I have a little zipper pouch for my tanks. I got this at a tobacco shop. It's designed for a small one hitter pipe

I guess I don't have a lack of pockets. - My PV never ends up in a pants pocket because I always have a shirt pocket no matter if it's in a pocket-t or a flannel shirt or whatever... and I never have a shortage of pants pockets no matter if I'm wearing cargo shorts or carhartt dungarees. -- Plus I wear a belt which allows me to attach whatever holsters and pouches might be necessary for whatever kit I need to have with me.

If you are looking for a system for your keys, instead of looking for a container to keep them quiet, I'd suggest finding something that simply keeps them secure instead and mitigating the noise problem with rubber key covers. If you need to get keys on and off your ring often and easily have a look at this. And for probably the most secure way to keep your keys with you and out of a pocket where they might scratch your PV or your phone, I see a lot of these among other people with similar jobs to mine where they need to carry a lot of gear every day.
