Hi, I just started vaping at the beginning of Feb and haven't had a regular cig since. I started with a Kanger EVOD Starter Kit 650mAh. I picked up my first variable voltage battery yesterday smok eGo variable 1300mAh and I was wondering how you determine which voltage to use. The cart that come in the kit is a bottom coil. I also have a couple of top coils but I don't know the brand as they didn't come with the unit, my vendor just sold me some lose ones he had. I will ask him next week which ones they are. Does different juices require different voltage for better flavour?
Thx

The only real tried and true way to do it is to experiment :)
As a general rule the more voltage you put through an atomiser/clearomiser, the more liquid can vaporise in one go so more vapour = more throat hit, Too much voltage though and the coil will vaporise more liquid than can be fed into it quickly enough.

I found that 4.2 is a good voltage for most of my own atomisers, some need more than others :)
Try sticking it on the lowest setting (probably 3.2 for you) and take a draw, then up it a notch or 2, to say maybe, 3.5/3.6, take another draw. Rinse and repeat until you taste burning, you've just found your atomiser's limit more or less :)

EDIT - Dammit knew i forgot something, Some liquids do require a touch more power than others if they're thicker from higher VG Content/Darker flavourings, Just experiment basically, the worst you'll do is burn out your coil and that's with some continuous pushing, go nuts :D
