Might have been me among others who said that. I was referring to VW Murica, which tasted like straight up FW Boom! to me. Their Swedish Fish also tastes like straight up FW Swedish Candy (I've tried both FW and TFA, they're pretty similar). On the flip side, I got more of a TFA vibe from their On Cloud Custard , definitely no FW Vanilla custard in it.
It's been months since I've vaped anything from VW. All I have left is some Orange Dream, Raspberry Cheesecake, Bae Bae Cakes, King Cake, Fruit Hoops and Wrecking Ball.
The King Cake tastes very familiar, (FW Cake Batter Dip?) but after 9 months of vaping my own juice it's so overly sweetened that I can't nail it down at all.
The Bae Bae Cakes is shot, it's dark brown and smells like burnt plastic nicotine, and there's no way I'm vaping it.
The Wrecking Ball smells heavily of the candyish FW Banana and something else (grape?), the liquid has taken on a curious fluorescent yellow-orange tint, I can tell from the smell that it's going to be over-flavored and sweetened, so I'm passing on vaping it as well.
The Raspberry Cheesecake smells like plastic.
The Orange Dream smells similar but not exactly like TFA Orange Cream, I also taste and smell something like FW Blood Orange, and the liquid does have a light cloudiness similar to FW Blood orange (or maybe it's just turned cloudy after sitting for months). It's actually somewhat tasty, I'll vape it today and see if any more bells ring.
All I can say about the Fruit Hoops is it's similar to but not exactly like TFA Fruit Circles (of which I have vaped a lot). I've never tried FW's version. What I have is 0 nic max VG. There is that strange VW trademark under-aroma (plastic?) that I don't get at all with my own single flavor TFA Fruit Circles.
One thing I'll say is that in all the Vape Wilds, (all 3mg nic), I can taste the nicotine distinctly, and it's not what I'd describe as pleasing. That could have to do with them being old, but I do recall not being able to handle their 12mg strengths because the nicotine was just horribly strong, even back when I was vaping 12mg.
My favorites from them were Vanilla Clouds(?) Vanilla Butternut, Sweet and Creamy, Circus Bear and Bombshell Batter. I also liked Sweet Complexity until a bottle I had turned cloudy and the flavor went watery.
Memories...Professor Snipes Slitherin Sauce (VW's version of Snake Oil), I'm pretty sure that's TFA Pear (never tried FW Pear). I hated it at first, but now it's one of my ADV's (my own snake oil clone, not VW's Professor). VW's rendition was pretty good.
That's all I got. I'd assume VW is like most mass market budget juice vendors. Heavy handed on the flavoring, predominantly FW (lower price point) with a few TFA/CAP mixed in, cheap low quality nicotine, and tanker loads of sucralose. They were great for me while I was transitioning to DIY and had very little money to spend on pre-made juice. Knowing what I know now, vs the nothing I knew then, I can never go back. I need to taste my own hand in what I vape now. DIY is a one way road for me, no way back to pre-mixed.
