Out of all the companies that I used to do business with and still do business with the ones that offer a similar level of service that I am noticing is the Kanger wholesale also known as lightfire distribution. They are located in Florida so that might be why because I am also in Florida that might be why nothing is really changed that much with them which I will not be going into detail about lol but anyway let's just say the service is very good still and when they do ship they seem to go through a place called Blue streak which in the couple instances vape and not vapor related that I've dealt with that shipping company they seem to be the closest to the big national shippers

I wouldn't buy anything from Element Vape. They've been hacked twice. That tells me they don't give a rats azz about security or their customers. Not worth it.

Of course you are correct, but some of us just don't have a choice depending on the state you live in. Using VaporDNA as an example, they won't ship to the following states:

Georgia, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, San Francisco, CA

I live in one of those locations and they won't ship me anything, not even a drip tip. Element Vape will send it to one of those mail places and I pick it up from there.

I have been using a Visa gift card to pay for my purchases, I figure out what I want and then got to Walmart and buy a Visa gift card for close to my total purchase price and use that. Kind of a pain, but I sleep easier. Not really sure if it protects me that much, but they won't get my real credit card number.

Buying in your local state is not your only option. You can always purchase gear from the Chinese sites (FT, SM, HC). Each of those has far more products than any online or local US based store.

I haven't purchased any vape gear from the US since prior to the PACT Act going into effect. In my opinion it is not worth the hassle to buy vape gear in the US.

I purchase gear from overseas (not China). Zero hassle whatsoever. Very fast shipping.

FWIW, It is my understanding that all US based shops, online or local, are required under the PACT Act to collect your info and purchasing history, store it for up to 5 years and report it to the ATF and state AG. That's F'ed up!

For me buying vape gear in the good old USA is a firm, and hard, no go. Government has proven themselves to be the enemy of vapers. That alone speaks volumes, IMO.

I've never done it, but can't you just buy a virtual card online instead of going to Walmart? Would be less of a pain.

I know some of the cards will let you reload the card with more funds, but I usually can't find the card to reload it. I think I just need to get more organized. Thanks for the great suggestion, I will look into it.

The reason why VaporDNA won't ship me any products is because it is illegal to ship any vape or tobacco products to a consumer in my state. The way Element Vape does it makes it legal so that I and they are not breaking my state law. It is a good suggestion, but I don't feel comfortable breaking any laws.

You aren't actually breaking laws because it's the shipper who is breaking the laws. It's not illegal to buy, only to ship.

However, I guess if you take into consideration that any product that does not have an approved PMTA is technically an illegal tobacco product and cannot be sold to US consumers residing in the USA, all vendors who sell to US consumers residing in the USA are breaking the law, even those who are shipping legally.

I could be wrong about this, but the FDA has stated that they will not enforce the PMTA at this time. So, if they aren't enforcing it, or approving or rejecting PMTA applications, well, it can't really be illegal can it? Heck, they can't even really provide retailers a correct list of who has submitted a PMTA. When they decide to get serious about the PMTA I guess I may have to change my approach. Thanks.

You may be right. That may be why so many stores are still selling the same stuff they used to. I don't follow it that closely because I don't have to.

One way to find out who is shipping is to do a Google search for what you want to buy. Lots of places are still shipping hardware and ejuice. Hell, many are running sales.

As for the requirement of an adult signature, some vendors have set up a system whereby the products can be shipped to a store and you pick up your package there.

In addition, if you live in an apartment complex like me, my front office is very happy to sign for the package. There is no requirement that the person doing the signing has to be the one the products are being delivered to. The only requirement is they have to be an adult.

Interesting, that sort of precludes excluding minors, don't you think?
