USPS shows delivered, but never received, what should I do?

I was expecting my package to be comming with some samples and my 30ml of midnight apple.
USPS shows the package was delivered at 5:49pm, so I go to check my mailbox and there was no package
I live in an apartment, but I have never had an issue with getting packages before.

I know I could wait it out a day or two and hope someone mightve gotten it instead and will drop it off. But honestly there arent the most honest of tenants here. And Im sure once it leaves halo's warehouse, its out of their hands. But how should I proceed? Is there anything the post office can do? (pretty sure they dont insure the packages) Or am I out the $40 on this order?

I'd give it a day. Maybe the postal worker just popped it in the wrong box.

You could put a little sign "If anyone got a package accidentally for me..." People can be honest, too.

Now, if this was the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, you are out of luck.

(Of course, if this was your first order with Halo, you did go back to Halocigs.com and verify the correct address...)

wait on it for a day, then bother halo about it.

depending on what type of USPS service they used, there might be a bit of default insurance up to $100 dollars on it.

but seriously dont panic yet, wait it out a day, if it still hasnt shown up tomorrow after your mail man has made their delivery rounds, then send a nice email to Halo asking them what to do.

IIRC that has happened to me once. Sounds like it was delivery scanned too early or, it's in one of your neighbors mailboxes.

Wait it out a day, if it doesn't show up contact USPS.

Sometimes they mark it delivered when it hits the local PO before it goes out for delivery and then it doesn't make it out that day.

My mailman always scans as delivered about 45 minutes before he actually drops it in my box, so maybe its awaiting delivery or he messed up. I'd call the post office tomorrow and ask them whats up...or catch the mailman when he's making his rounds.

this happens to me all the time with USPS I will get packages 1-3 business days AFTER it says it was delivered according to their crappy tracking system... one thing I learned about shipping in the last decade is that usps tracking is worthless (which is probably why they used to call it delivery confirmation and probably still should it's bad real bad)

I called the 800 number for the post office. Didn't make me any friends at my local post office but they did look for it and I got it 3 days later. the rural driver dropped between the seat and the door.

So postman didnt have it today, and no other tenants came forward with it. Even checked at my apartments office to see if it was dropped off, nadda.

Called Halos customer service, opened a ticket and was forwarded to their shipping department to leave a voicemail (after hours)
I also emailed USPS customer service about it as well. There has been issues in the past with regular letters being delivered to wrong building numbers, but this is my 4th package from halo but the first where there has been an issue.

The one thing that really bothers me, is that this shipment had my 30ml of midnight apple and ive been wanted to vape it for the last month since my 7ml ran out. Hopefully my other order due in on thursday doesnt run into the same fate.

I called the local post office when it happened to me. The postmaster ruthlessly tracked it down and hand delivered it to me two days later. The email to USPS customer service online was never acknowledged or answered.

Just checking to see of you ever got your shipment. Personally, I'd be LIVID...but it wouldn't help. Keep politely bugging those that may be able to assist you...squeaky wheel is the one that gets the oil! In the future, do you have any friends or relatives that live in houses near you...may consider shipping it there!
I thought the same thing happened to me but my neighbor brought it over later that evening.it had been put in her mailbox. Hope you get this resolved!

I had a shipment scanned to Kearny and then no movement. I called Halo and they sent a replacement order out. But this was different, cause it showed scanned in Kearny and not delivered. The replacement order arrived in 4 days. They said if the original order ever shows up, to send it back to Halo. But I'm honest and I called them when it did show up and paid for it. No real problem, as it's all juice I love. And I got more points!

Let's see what Halo does, your neighbors do, and the USPS.

No, still nothing.

Ive spoken with Halo, Post office, and even the mail carrier.
Halo says they have contacted the post office, and they should have an update 24-48 hours.
Post office called me back and said they are looking into it.
Mail carrier (who is a nice guy btw) says he is still keeping an eye out for it but isnt sure what happened. Unsure if he was the carrier that day or not (theres like 3 that ive seen). I know mistakes happen, and I dont want him to get in trouble for this. I have lived in this apartment for 4 years and this is the first time this has happened to me

He even agreed with me that there are some shady people here, but we are having a bit of faith in humanity and hoping someone does the right thing. The scenario we are hoping for, is the person who got it works nights or something and is waiting till the weekend to drop it off.
So I will wait till Sunday night/Monday before contacting Halo about the next step.

Pretty sure it was just a fluke because I got my other order on thursday without a problem.
But if it doesnt turn up, what really pisses me off is that whoever got it has NO use for it imho. So they either tossed it in the garbage or its just sitting on a table waiting till they figure out what to do with it.

Just an update
Halo's customer service followed through and was great through this matter. I received the replacement package today, little bummed it didnt have the mentholX sample since thats what was going to be in the original package, but still had the tribeca so its not all bad.
But I am more happy about finally getting my Midnight apple Ive been waiting on.

stolen package still never showed, so im going to call that one a loss. But I am happy with the customer service they provided
