Are they manufacturing their hardware at the Gainesville plant? I got some tanks in my vape mail today and noticed that the top metal ring on the tank goes down deeper, inside the tank... Just above the fill line, adds a little weight to the tank; I almost thought the tank was glass. It's different but kinda nice looking. Or is this just a yellow tank thing? But, yaaaaay, after sitting in Jacksonville, for a week, they finally got here.

To the best of my understanding, Halo is in Gainesville. All of the juice making is there as well. I think all of Halo's hardware (like most vaping gear) is still manufactured in the Far East under Halo's specs.

There are several Triton Tank variations. Two different bottoms, where the threading stops at the air port or continues for past. Two different tops, where one does extend inside the tank. There are differences in where the threading starts and the shoulder design. And 2 tip designs, the older short thread that tends to break, and the newer style with longer threads and better metal to plastic joint.

But I see this on my tanks that are 11 months in use.

Here is Cinder Ella's announcement - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/halo/602305-halos-new-location.html

And Sage, the article you seek is in this thread, post 30 for the newspaper article.

And the hardware origin question was also answered in this thread by FallenRawToast, Post 28
