Urine smells like my Vape Juice

I welcome the jokes, all the 8 year old posts asking the same question had the same thing going on, and there's already a few gold one-liners in here.

That being said, a few other people have already mentioned the same thing happening to them, both in past posts elsewhere, and in this thread.

If this could be a potential side effect, then it's worth talking about and exploring as a potential side effect of vaping, whether harmful or not, isn't it?

odd...but I recon I can see that happening - lots of foods you eat can affect urine odor - think asparagus

I have some in the oven and was thinking that. Maybe the flavoring uses the same or similar chemical when combined with alcohol (breathing is one way we expel alcohol) some people have show up in urine.

I feel that this is a legitimate vape related question if there could be a possible harmful side effect. I'd also like to think that the people who would laugh at a question like this are immature and should probably move along if they cannot help.

Smells passing through urine isn't harmful, it's what we do. My urine often smells like coffee. Tonight it will smell like asparagus.
More like an interesting side effect. If you could figure out the hows of it and it works on everyone you could probably sell it. Move over poo-pourri and golden glitter poo pills, custom scented urine.

Now if you smelled death then I'd be more open to something harmful going on (not necessarily a side effect, such as the death I smelled in the bathroom when I quit smoking, smoking was treating the disease). Or blood, no matter what Dr's say passing blood is not normal, but plenty do blow it off as hemorrhoids or kidney stones without really looking to prove their hypothesis.

As someone with a disease that has to do with emergency bodily functions often creating embarrassing situations, as the saying goes, if you can't laugh you'll cry.

I think it's a natural part of the process. Remember we're dealing with concentrated flavours here. I suppose some the body can break down, but some, and some strengths, the body don't break down completely...

^^-- yeah, your body just needs to get rid of it, it doesn't care if it gets broken down first or not.

This is probably a sign you consumed a lot of flavoring.

Unless you just want to find a way to blame it on vaping...there are a few on the blame vaping bandwagon already.


Me - I vape.
I also eat and drink - all of these will affect the odors of your bodily functions.



If you are really concerned about it see your doctor instead of posting on a forum.
