Since the 17th I havent had any then cried today b/c of some stuff going on and smoked half of one. Everyones different. I was smoking 100% natural tobacco skydancer lights when I made the leap.

Emos are bautiful people I say!! I was on the crappy UK Lambert and Butler brand and Marlboro lights when I gave up.

I still have a few every day, b/c I have "stuff" going on too. For me at least it all depends on how much stuff/stress level. I don't like the taste any more, but it's kind of like going back to an old friend for comfort...

For the most part, I've cut back from my normal 30 a day to just a few. It works especially well if I remember to vape the really high nic stuff and then wait awhile when the urge for the "old friend" hits me.

Like others, I really didn't get an e-cig to quit. Got mine out of curiosity and so I could grab some nicotine without braving the cold porch!

Within about a week I noticed that I was smoking less (1.5 pack a day to less than half a pack.) I also noticed that I actually enjoyed the e-cigs more. So at that point it was just a matter of figuring out a strategy that would allow me to have an e-cig whenever I want instead of analogs.

I'm not denying myself an analog if I want one at all. I have access to both at all times. I have half a pack left I bought 3 weeks ago. Amazing.

Did you just call me an emo? LOL, that's a first. I remember when I made the switch to the skydancers and I was withdrawing from the other chemicals. Whatever was in natural tobacco I'm withdrawing from.
Now, thinking about finishing the other half of the nasty cigarette thats been sitting in front of me for hours. Must refrain! Do not do it, Nadia! Just smoke your ecig. Don't look at it. Learn discipline. That's right you can do it, see you don't want it after all do you. Yes, that's right, just puff the ecig (talking to self)
Nope not emo, just crazy.

I am still new to the E Cigarette but I got mine last monday, so this makes it about 1 week. I have smoked a total of 4-5 cigarettes in a week. I have 10 smokes left in my pack, and I havent had the urge to smoke them at all. I really didn't pick up Esmoking to quit smoking cigarettes but I picked to do it cause it was healthier... I tried to smoke a cigarette a few days ago and couldn't take the 2nd drag off it. It made me sick. So I can def say its a great product. My only thing now is trying to find some good liquids and products to make my experience all the better.

Ok, well, I had ZERO yesterday, so I guess I'm on my way!
Take it one day at a time. ;)

With the vaping, I'm not sure what nic your vaping but maybe if you have a 2nd cig (I use my super mini for this) you could have a higher nic cart in just in case you have that urge for a big hit, after meals etc.

I'm getting some 36 mg today, to dilute down to various strengths. Right now the cartridges I have are 18 mg. There are times I want to puff away and 18 makes me jittery, so I stop. I think my main problem after meals has been when I eat something spicy and I just can't taste this e-cig. That was the case last night and I resisted the urge for an analog and just kept puffing for a while and then realized I felt fine. So if I just stick with it, I think I can work through those times. Eventually my taste buds weren't on fire anymore and I could taste the e-cig again. LOL!

I enjoy smoking. period. For numerous common reasons.
I still have 1/2 a pack of Marlboro Lights in the glove compartment of my car(and a Bic lighter) just in case of emergency. hehe ;-)
So far, I haven't had the urge or need to go for one or three.
To tell you the truth, I'm totally flabergasted that my craving for an analog cig is gone ever since I started vaping.
And I've been at this smoking thing for 30+ years.
No more.

These stories are so great!!! Very inspirational and a true testament to the wonderful properties of e-cigs :). I've been vaping since last Thursday and have had average of 2-3 a day (was at around 2 packs a day). I'm allowing myself to have them when I get intense cravings (which are diminishing with each day of vaping. Really it's only after I eat) because in the other 10 times I've tried to quit I avoided them like the plague. I think that still allowing them to be around and slowly quitting is helping. I think once the holidays are over I'll quit for good. New Years resolution!! Anyone else going to give up for good after New Years?

my 901 came from steve lastnight. I had one analog ont the way to work because I couldn't figure out how to drip, drive 80 mph, and drink my coffee all @ the same time. I hope to never go back.

That is why they made the carts for e-cigs. So when you can't drip you don't have to. :D

Any hard drinkers in the house?

I drink scotch neat and the only thing that can cut through that stuff is the real thing, sorry the ecig is great in the office it definately has it's place, but I can't get off the real things 100%

After reading so many inspirational stories I wish I could add one
but to quote Ron Burgandy

"I love Scotch, scotchy, scotchy, Scotch!"
