Good afternoon. I am being lazy this morning. I just can't get motivated.

I am new to using an Instapot, so I did an experiment last night. I cooked a chuck roast that was frozen to see how it did. I was pretty impressed. 70 minutes and the another 10 after I added veggies. I made bone broth yesterday morning, and I think that made it better, too.

Oh well, after we ate beef stew, we added more of Perry's canned veggies and made soup. We have six more meals. He said it was so good that he may can it tonight but it doesn't matter to me. I am used to freezing. I do like the fact that canning last so long though.

Sunny right now and I should get out and take a walk. Hope everyone has a nice day.

Good evening lurkers

We’ve missed you OBG, sorry about the damage.

You are so right about the crazy weather, Dale. 75 yesterday and snow tomorrow  Your work day definitely chaotic. When do you think you’ll get to retire til next year lol.

Sounds like you’ve been a busy girl too, Rat2. Hope you find a new computer before the old goes for good.

Not much new around here. Just working and reading lol speaking of which, off to finish a book one of my coworkers lent me. Enjoy the rest of your evening :)

We had a quick little rain shower this afternoon, but then the sun came back out. I started out lazy and it stuck around all day. I have gotten very little accomplished today. I did get a new Chromebook ordered. I've always had Asus but I am going to try a Lenovo this time. They are good computers. Dad had one. I still have his but I did not want to use it. I guess it is a backup to a backup.

Supper is already fixed because we are having some of the soup we fixed last night. I love days like this where you don't have to do much cooking. I sure am doing more than I used to.

    Good evening everyone
    :)
. I am tired. Woke up this morning with a severe sore throat and it’s not feeling much better. Guess I really shouldn’t complain, it’s been ages since I was sick with anything other than a headache. Going to try to get to sleep early tonight.

Glad you had such a pleasant day Rat2.

Oh Sara I’m pretty sure Randy will keep me working till I refuse to go in. Or I collapse on the job  Sure looking forward to the end of tomorrow!

    Good afternoon everyone
    :)

Discovered a bad leak in the kitchen about 4 a.m., had to pull everything out from under the sink to find the problem. Cleaned things up and dried to the best of our ability and shut the water off to the house. DH left about 7 a.m., I went to the kitchen some time later for coffee and all the water was back in the floor. Apparently the hot water tank was draining through the kitchen so I shut the breaker to the water heater, unfortunately that didn’t stop it from spewing under the sink. Finally wrapped the hose in a big black trash bag hoping to catch most of the water and dried the floors again, then I had to go to work. DH went home and water was everywhere again. Got home shortly after 3 and we have plumbers here working on the sink and DH’s leaky shower. Hope they don’t take a big breath anywhere near me since I can’t bathe
    lol

    Good morning Joey.

No it didn’t, this was a church member from DH’s church who helps people for free, it’s his calling. Repair supplies was 72 dollars and we gave him 100 as a thank you. He and his friend were here for many hours. His name is Chuck Norris.

Good morning OBG. I hope they arrive promptly, I’ve been having a terrible time getting coffee from Amazon. One order I placed on feb 1 arrived at the end of March! Supposedly it got lost, now the replacement order I made is going through the same issue

    Good evening all :)

I hope you are feeling better, Dale and thank goodness for the church member who was able to repair the leak. That is awesome!

We went to a fundraiser today for a family in our community that lost everything in a house fire a few months ago. Picked up a couple of chicken dinners they were selling for the boys for dinner and I had some buttered noodles with parm cheese.

It snowed today but thankfully the ground is warm enough that it melted.

Hope you all are having a peaceful weekend.

Good evening Sara. Looks like we popped in at the same time.

I am feeling much better, thank you. :)

Always nice to be able to help another fellow being, good job :)

Sorry you’re still seeing snow, it’s got to end sometime.

Yeah I’m a little worried about the postal system, we still mail our bill payments. Very reluctant to do online payments.

Aren't they great?! Except for rice. Rice hates me. No matter how hard I try, I never get rice that isn't clumpy and sticky.

It's not just the UPS. Everyone seems to have their heads up their backside. I've had issues with 'em all. USPS, FedEx, UPS and even Amazon.

Very reluctant to do online payments.

Most companies will set up auto payments now where they'll automatically take their payment from your card/account. No need to log in each month to pay.
