Just ordered one today. Will probably need links to good wick material for replacement time, if ny1 would be so kind. This will be my first mesh type atomizer. I did buy the RA tank and could never get it to, not taste burnt. Hope this one works out better. thanks and great price.

On my 2, I and I switched the tops to get a better air hole alignment.

Same here. They line up perfectly after switching.

Airhole bored out to 1/16. Xc-116 sleeving over original wick. 28g kanth.

Having some major problems with my Cobra from fasttech.

Just got it today, took the wick and coil out. Did some more oxidizing on the SS mesh. Recoiled using 32 Kanthal. Would not light up.
Tried several more variations on recoiling and still could not get the coils to light up.

It looks like the bottom post is recessed and not touching the battery post. Has anyone experienced this yet? The light on my Vision Spinner will blink several times if there is a short and it is not doing that here. The battery is working just fine leading me to believe it is not making connection

I have some pics but can't load them bc they are too large. Maybe I could email someone the pics and they could help?

Try to push down on the top of the positive post while its off the battery. If it won't move down slightly, Loosen the bottom nuta little to be able to push the post down.

Thanks again Ricks. These are a pretty damn good deal and super easy to build. The is my first RBA besides the Vivi heads I have built over and over.

The only thing that sucks is the cheap plastic tank. I wish it would have come with something similar to the Vivi Nova.

I am going to put in some product requests for a good clone APV clones. Great source for flashlights. Check over at budgetlightforum.com and they have some reviews of the different flashlights.

It's easy to over tighten the screws on the positive post and pull it too far up into the device. This is usual for all the did clones. It's also possible to push the post up into the clone by over tightening a mod with a floating/adjustable center pin. I've done both. This picture here shows where I over tightened my EA mod and pushed the center pin up into the clone. It caused a hard short in the clone and shredded the insulator. I took it apart, put in a new insulator and I was good to go.

as far as the clear tank that comes on it, it doesn't feel cheap at all to me. I'm sure it's plastic but for $8 I wouldn't expect glass. It's not worse than the carto tanks I used to use.

Hey Donnah,
Yeah, I did not realize how easily the positive post moved or was even capable of moving. I was getting ready to buy another one since I thought it was a defect.

I was in contact with Fasttech today and was told their supplier is no longer including extra wick and wire. I got 1 extra wick and a small amount of wire big enough for 2 rebuilds so I am not sure what is going on with that since some people are getting the extras and others aren't.

I love the classic look of my real DIDs. I love the screw on top cap. I love how they're sold. One site sells them (as of right now that I know of) and he is very active in the Euro forum. I don't think it's a particularly easy genesis to set up as far as capturing the top wire. I have modded mine with a washer from my rsst and a spring from an ink pen and that makes it really easy to set up. It's tricky to wrap the coil while the wick is in the device due to the height of the neg capture, but it can be done well enough.. just not as easy as it would be if the neg screw weren't so tall. If you want one, keep watch in the clearance section of MMvapors and the classys. I bought one of mine off the classys and the other from the clearance section, where he puts "blemished" units. I can't find any blemish on mine.
