Hi all.

Since I'm finding myself enjoying tootle puffing more and more lately,
I was wondering is there a RTA with very tight draw?
And I don't mean just reduced airflow, but a chamber chimney with
very small inner diameter, 3mm or so. Bit less than kayfun.
Something like Protank mini with RBA and increased juice capacity.
Does such thing exist?

Anyway, this is my first post here and I've been registered
for six months now, not counting few weeks lurking period.
All questions I had were already been answered, so I educated myself
using search function.

Started with clearos, but that didn't cut it for long.
So I bought Ego One which was much better solution, but coil heads
were fickle, to put it that way. So I DIY-ed RBA decks out of them
(that was before they released CLR heads) and I was a happy vaper ever since.
Then came regulated mods, RTAs, juice DIY-ing... You know the drill :)

You've all been tremendous help for me in quitting 25 years nasty habit
of smoking 2 pads of reds daily (my wife also quit), so thank you.

I haven't used any RTA's to this point in my vape experience. I did grow into sub ohm using the Kanger Subtank Mini's, but I hated the wide bore drip tip it came with. So I swapped it out for a more restrictive one, and I do choke the airflow down. I can either build my own coils or buy the factory ones. It works for me.

Good luck in your vape journey and congrats to you and your wife.

Hello and welcome.

Congratulations on quitting.

I always liked the Kayfun v4 for tootle puffing. (I like all types of things and have experimented with them) There is an adjustable airflow screw and you can always change out the drip tip for more restrictive draw. It is a good RTA with juice flow control and capable of filling from the top without leaking. Something else to consider would be a Kanger Subtank with rebuildable base.

I know that nobody would ever recommend an old Protank II anymore, but if you are really looking for that style, pair it with the optional airflow control base. Easily rebuilable, hold 2.5 mil or so, adjustable airflow, simple tootle puffing. The airflow control base really does change it into something more usable.

Most of the newer stuff (even the ego one) will pump out more vapor, even set on the lowest airflow setting.

I have been using an EK V2 with a 1.7 ohm coil $12.34 EK V2 RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (4.0ml) - glass + stainless steel / 21mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping and it seems to have the small chimney and reduced air flow you are looking for. I have 3 of these and they are my favorite tanks. they give me more flavor than my orchid V3 and V4 and even my subtank with a 1.2 ohm coil can not mach the flavor of my EK V3s.

My nautilus mini has a pretty tight draw on the smallest airhole. Tighter than the kanger subtank mini on the smallest air holes.

The Rose V2 has a very good reputation for tight airflow with its single 2mm air hole. Actually, when I pick one of mine up I quickly realize that my draw has to be slooooow so that the juice/air mixture has "some" balance. It is very much a sitting (doing nothing) vape experience. Easily the tightest draw I have encountered in an RTA. But, really good flavor.

Am glad there is one in my line-up.
