Super T Drip Tips- "Shorty" or "Contoured", Stainless Steel or Aluminium, Shorty or Reg??? Urgggg...

I purchased three cheap Drip Tips a few days ago, just to see how I liked drip tips.

Two of them don't fit my 510's at all! Not sure if I messed up, or the vendor, but they're definitely the wrong size. Oh well, $.99 down the drain, no big loss.

The third one is actually pretty nice! Marble design, and fits great, with an o ring, and is snug and makes dripping much easier.

Now, having ordered a bottom feed juice box, and figuring I won't need/use carts for a while, I'd like to get a top quality drip tip.

Are the Super T's considered top of the line? What's the difference between the steel and aluminium... is it noticable? Worth the extra $5 (not a big deal)?

Any other drip tips people prefer over the Super T's?

Sorry for all of the questions, but I'd like to NOT repeat the mistake that occured with the 1st drip tips (Delrin) I purchased. Wasting 99 cents isn't a big deal, wasting 20 bucks would piss me off.

I would still let the supplier/vendor know in an e-mail. You did spend money with them and they obviuosly sent you the wrong items.

SuperT's tips are functionally the best IMO. I have 2 of the contoured and 2 of the straight-shorty and regular. I love the contoured ones the best. Work flawlessly everytime and they are easy to keep clean. The aluminum is lighter in weight and a bit less classy looking.

Any other drip tips people prefer over the Super T's?

I also have some from NHaler. I like to color co-ordinate my pv's and his tips are pretty good. Just placed another order the other day, as he got in some new color designs.

I very much prefer my Super T to the others I've tried. I have the long delrin contoured tip. From what I've read, there's not much difference between the steel and aluminum. The difference that's usually cited is between the delrin and the steel/aluminum. People say that the delrin tends to "grab" the liquid and hold some in the tip when dripping, whereas with the steel and aluminum most of the liquid makes its way to the atomizer. If you're not actually using it for dripping though, it's more a matter of which material you'd find most comfortable.

Thanks for the info and suggestion. I have contacted the vendor, so perhaps they'll send me the correct tips. What's strange is, when I go on their site, and try to log in, it doesn't recognize my e-mail address! I KNOW I entered it when I ordered, but in any case, I can't see what's shown as my previous order.

Biff... you're right! If I'm not going to use it to drip, I guess I should consider appearance and comfort more then, say, if it has a wide mouth for easy dripping.

Have you used/seen the aluminium compared to the ss? If so, is it worth the extra $$$?

You'll probably get alot of different responses here as it will ultimately depend on what your mouth/lips tell you.

I had recently bought both the Super-T stainless and their black Delrin (plus I have some other Delrins, including a couple white translucent from other vendors) and so far, I use both. Note there are other brands of stainless out there but I haven't tried them. Of the stainless ones, I have one of each of the wide-mouth regular contoured & wide-mouth contoured shorty, and also the wide-mouth regular straight, and have found that I like the contoured better. Although the straight version is supposedly stainless, I seem to "taste" metal from that more (but not from the contoured ones). The stainless however, is the gold-standard for consistently moving liquid drops into the atty whereas liquid may pool more often in the Delrins. In either case, most drippers have adopted the habit of tapping and/or lightly blowing into the opening (too hard a blow may mean liquid squirting back into your face) to move excess liquid to the atty.

I also have some contour anodized aluminum tips (to match the color of my vGos) and they seem to work well too. The aluminum is lighter weight than the stainless and it seems that some prefer the lighter tips if they have regular ecigs or lightweight mods as they won't weigh the tops down. The aluminum also comes in many colors to match PV styles and/or moods (or to even color code juice attys). The issue with aluminum however, is the potential for Al leaching - although getting anodized ones should help to rectify that issue.

Am sure there are many different quality versions of Delrin out there so often the cheapest isn't always up to par but also the most expensive aren't always up to par either. The fancy swirl Delrins are pretty cool (and costly), but I have read some posts where some are prone to crack (particularly near the bottom) when trying to get them on/off.

In any case, the Delrins seem to offer a good value for the price if you go with the $2 - $3 ones.

I find the stainless steel drip tips to be very cool temperature wise when you first put them in your mouth and fire up your PV they take a little while to warm up.

I forgot to mention.
If you look at the difference in the shipping costs, SuperT's is lower, which I think makes up for the price of the tip. IMO.
