I've got several from Super T, a couple of the Delrin versions [back-up incase I loose one] and three metal versions [clear, red and blue]. Strangely I've not noticed a metallic taste. I remember hearing at one time that the quantity and type of dental fillings you have can cause that sensation when contacting metal....???

I have dentures, so that's not it, at least with me :D

Wow, thanks to all of you for the great replies. I think I gotta get a Super T. Judging from what has been said about the metallic taste (which takes away from the experience for me) I think I may go to the derlin. With wide mouth design I don't think juice should get stuck in tip too badly.

For some crazy reason I like the look of the shorty. Are there any downsides to having a short tip (such as hot juice popping in my mouth, etc.)?

I don't mean to make something so simple so complicated, but you guys are helping alot.

I get juice splash everyonce in a while w/ the shorties(man that stuffs hot). As a result I'll probably b e getting a long delrin tip.
