Subox mini a "starter kit"?

Any 20A battery will be fine. You don't want to go lower than this because the SubTank Mini does come with .5 ohm heads. At 50W this pushes 10A to the battery. A good level of "headroom" to keep in mind is 50%, and w/ 20A this puts you perfectly at that. Didn't even realize the math would work out like that till I did it, lol..

Without going into extensive detail, here are some reputable battery vendors and brands of batteries. These will all suit your needs perfectly.

18650 LG 18650HE2 2500mAh High Discharge Flat Top
18650 LG 18650HE4 2500mAh High Discharge Flat Top
18650 Samsung INR18650-25R 2500mAh High Discharge FLAT Top

Oh, and also.. There is no such thing as a 35A 18650 battery. In fact, I'd be skeptical of anything that claims higher than 20A.

There are a lot of no-name companies out there re-wrapping batteries and claiming their CDR/overall capabilities are greater than they truly are. It's dangerous and irresponsible.

I only wish this "Starter Kit" would have been around 5 years ago when I was a "Starter".

Haha, yeah. Part of me is happy for the people who are just discovering vaping, and the other part of me is deeply resentful that I paid 20 dollars more for my first eGo starter kit. It did come complete with two (!!!) CE4 clearos, though!

Well, at least you didn't pay $100 for this kit like I did in 2006.
