Question about nic strength in Subox Mini

Hey guys! I've been vaping for about a year now. Started off with the usual cheap KangerTech starter kit then upgraded to the EVOD VV (1600mAh) with EMOW Mega tank. Today I bought the KangerTech Subox Mini starter kit. (Wanted to get into the sub ohm vaping). Normally I use 12mg or 18mg juices but that is obviously too much for the .5 OCC that came with the kit. Anyone know what strength would be equivalent. At the moment I am using the 12mg juice but only at the minimum 15W and I'm taking smaller hits.

Most people who use the subtank with the 0.5 ohm coil use 3-6ml nicotine but considering you are still coming down from 18 to 12 then I would try 6-9 mg nicotine as that will be a smoother transition from the 12mg you have been using. You will most likely experience a harsher hit with that high a nicotine content so I would try to stay around 20 watts and take small hits until you get use to it. Once you get use to the lower nicotine level then drop it again from 9 to 6mg and when you are comfortable with that go down to 3mg. Most people are currently using 70/30 VG/PG at 3 mg for sub-ohm vaping. If you are using higher PG then perhaps it would be wise to drop that down as well.

basic rule of thumb is to cut current nic level in half, so as above poster stated, 6-9mg should be spot on for you!
