Thanks Sun! What do you suggest for storage of attys that have been really used and put away? If we aren't using them for just a few days do we need to prime them too or just for long time storage?

Moon--for just a few days --you do not have to do anything. I have atomizers that have been sitting around for months and they are fine just sitting in a draw. Many old ones that I have taken apart show no signs at all of rust or oxidation. I do think the keeping the mesh wet with primer is key though for long term storage.

I'm using little bottles that things like vitamins come in. I date the bottle. I'm buying about 8 at a time. When they arrive, I test each one and then put it back in the little plastic sleeve and tape close. I then put them in a bottle. I got some of those moisture collecter things that come in pill bottles. I put them at the top so it'll be easier to replace--high hopes of having them for a long long time.:)
Then I put the bottle in a freezer bag, making sure I get all the air out, and then put in a dry and cool place.
That's probably going to be the hardest thing in keeping them because I use a humidifier in the winter.
