Just noticed they've put up a new mod on their Website today (whilst searching to see if they've fixed the Xcube firmware yet)- i'm guessing the guts of the Koopor Mini in a Wooden box- looks really nice- just a shame that they're not giving the vaping community a great deal of confidence with their 'TC' products :/

It really seems that is a Koopor mini guts in a Wooden box. Almost sure in that. The only thing different that i noticed is that in the Treebox i can`t find a UBS firmware update port (god no!) and that it is 75W (Koopor mini is 60W).
I watched many reviews in youtube and most people are saying that the Koopor TC is functioning very well.
I just bought a X Cube II and i wonder if it has the same chip to the Koopor. But i think that sadly not (really sadly? I don`t know for sure). Maybe this "Dual Driver System" and "Hight-Frequency Dynamic Monitoring Resistance Technlogy" would work better in the X Cube II...
Although, very nice mod.

Pretty sure both the Koopor Mini and the Treebox are using updated variants of the board originally found in the Smok XPro M80 Plus (but this time, they actually WORK in TC), whereas the X Cube II has an entirely different board and UI.

Yes, i agree. Hope that the board of X-Cube II will still be better than the Koopor 200W...
Did you see that Koopor has just released the iOS/Android app? Go to their page...

EDIT: Treebox page shows SS TC !!

Seeing the (theoretical) SS support, and that the mod is available for only $49, I thought I'd complete my unholy trinity of Smok TC mods. Maybe three Smok TCs equals one working TC?

Pre-ordering it at 3F, the only Chinese vendor I can find it on. Estimated shipping is 30th September, but I've heard that one before..

been considering ordering one myself but was curious how well the temp control works. May wait til I can check a few more reviews, but the price is low enough for me to possibly just order it on a lark if I've got some extra $$ at the end of the pay period... hmm....

It should function nearly identically to the Koopor Mini, since it's using the same basic board. Which means it does TC fairly well.

Thanks! Good to know. Probably going to pick up one soon. Thinking of going with a fairly low resistance tank to start, but not sub-ohm. Probably around the 1.2 ohm range.
Note that you'll need nickel 200 or titanium grade 1 wire to do temperature control*. Both are fairly low resistance wire (nickel much more so), so it'll be difficult to build 1.2 or higher resistance coils (with nickel it is impossible in practice.

* you can use some other types of wire such as various grades of stainless steel or nife with a temperature offset, but as a rule the wires have a lower resistance than kanthal.
